Michael Z. has been in this industry over thirty years doing hair shows and platform work for Clairol International. He has spent the last several years developing his unique style of sculpting and custom hair color. I have dedicated my life to changing the way hair is done. I have spent thousands of dollars, many years and took millions of pictures.
I am obsessed over studying the pictures and analyzing how to improve posture, bone structure, double chins, skin complexion, aging lines, hair loss, big noses, body posture, head shapes, self esteem by helping people to appear younger, thinner, sexier and healthier. Michael believes that the hairstyling techniques that are taught today are the same ones that have been taught for decades.

I first went to Michael in 1991. I loved what he did with my hair back in the big hair days. I left when he changed locations, but returned several years later for the Z cut and color! One of my students told me the changes Michael made took 10 years off my appearance.
I've known Michael for many years. He is an artist . He is kind. He takes care of people! I highly recommend his talents for anyone!

I am not sure how the reviews came up with 5 stars. I live in California and was in need of a cut so I decided to try Michael's. He cut my hair dry which was a first and actually came out nice, if you are looking for a decent cut, you might try him. STAY AWAY from coloring or blow drying. As the latter, he doesn't even do. I came out looking like a skunk after he did the highlighting, it was terrible. Since he said he doesn't know how to blow dry and it was obvious he didn't when he attempted, I went home to do it myself. The color did not take completely and was orange at the roots. Never had

I don't think this place is for the younger generation. They do great on my supervisor's hair, but I asked for an ombre and I got choppy highlights starting halfway down my head. Went back for a second try but still super unhappy. Also, this place is right next to an adult toy shop and the strip itself gives off a creepy vibe. I do not plan on returning... My lady meant well and was very pleasant, but is probably better with the older generations.
