Services
A very powerful image, a unique way to create a ceremony of remembrance. This type of dove release can be done at the graveside, mausoleum, cemetery chapel, or an appropriate location of your choosing. Doves have symbolized love, peace, and hope. For centuries bagpipers have been used at military and state funerals.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Robert Lomison is Chairman of the Board and former President of Letum, Inc., a Pennsylvania based corporation which owns and operates cemeteries and funeral homes in Louisiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington State.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

My Father and his parents have been here for years and I recently brought mom in. The cemetery is always looking nice and when I asked to have my dad's vase straightened. They said they'd have it done while they buried mom.

They seem to of lost my mother‘s headstone. When I come in to talk to them they are unfriendly and not very helpful. The lady that works the main desk is very incompetent and acts put out when I come in to ask if they found my mother‘s headstone. Worst experience ever I would suggest burying your loved ones somewhere else.

I had the WORST experience at West Hills Cemetery. They were very very rude. They quoted me a price to bury my Uncles Urn 2 months later when we set the burial ceremony they increased the price $600.00.
He wanted to be buried with his mom so they asked me to place the marker flag where to dig the hole so I placed it on his mom's side of the grave. The day of the service the hole was dug on his dads side.
WORST experience...anyone could of had burying their family member.

My mom, dad, grandparents and I'm not sure how many other family members are buried here, but the cemetery is always well taken care of and everyone is very respectful.

In March of 2016 the love of my life passed very young. We grew up in west valley so it was nice that the family decided to have his urn placed at west hills. There was some differences in the family between myself and them however Brandon was amazing. He was so good to me. I met with Brandon several times and he spent many hours talking to me and he had other things to do I’m sure. I purchased the rights to the plot next to my partners after the family decided they didn’t want it. Since Brandon has left and the new family coordinator I have met with him as well he is extremely kind. They have

My parents purchased their burial plots in the 1980's or 1990's at West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima because of its beauty, the fact that my father’s parents were buried there, and my parents grew up near there. After my father passed away earlier this year my mother and I met with the West Hills Memorial Park family service counselor Brandon Homer in approximately the beginning of April. After making arrangements to purchase an urn and a containment box for the urn we were shown different styles of headstones. Brandon also took us up to show us where mom and dad’s burial plots were located

The View from the top of the hill is inspiring, you can see the whole valley, no busy road, which is very peaceful. This is where I will want to be buried.
