It was a good experience but I was never taught, shown , etc. how to take someone's blood pressure which is a basic skill that ALL CNAs should know.

Very nice when I called for info about a program. The price is very reasonable I actually like the school. To the ones that have attended / graduated from this Academy is it accredited? *update* I contacted Fldoe to find out if this Academy is accredited, I was told no it's not accredited under the U.S director If that doesn't matter to you then you should still attend. The Academy is affordable & the schedule is perfect, but I would like to attend a accredited school/ program.

I studied phlebotomy and had a good time with students & instructors learning it is very fast paced and hands on from day one but that’s what makes it fun. Only thing I would say is for Spanish only speaking students is there is no material in Spanish so u must speak fluent English to understand. Passed my test! Very thankful :)

I love it! The teachers are amazing. I did the phlebotomy program and I am now doing the nursing assistant program. The front desk girl is so helpful and will guide your through every step. They offer the courses in both, English and Spanish! I have applied to several jobs and I’ve already done several interviews. Thank you so much for your help!

Don’t study Phlebotomy or Medical Assistance. Their is no jobs opportunities. Please don’t waste your time and money. The school will never help you to find a job as they promise in the beginning. After you pay every coin and finish your program with good grades and excellent skills they will tell you is on you to find a job. Which is very difficult because in Phlebotomy and Medical Assistant you NEED to be recommended by the school.

Professor Alvarez is amazing. I'm about to graduate the phlebotomy program here. The class sizes are small so a lot of one on one attention. There's a lecture portion and a lab portion of the class, so you get both learning styles: hands on and listening. I really enjoyed my time here.

I took phlebotomy 5 years ago in a different school and taking the phlebotomy course for refreshers. I started the Phlebotomy course three weeks ago and I must say, this school is prestigious and well organized. They provide both English and Spanish, which is great because I need to refresh on medical terminology in Spanish. The phlebotomy teacher is amazing and constantly reminds us of the ultimate important aspects clinical care for patients and our exams. Our teacher is an RN and always teaches real-life situations in the class. We have two portions for the class lecture and labs. The facility

I took the Phlebotomy course at FHCA and I loved my experience. Even though I live about 40 minutes away, I didn't mind my drive to school every day because I loved going there. The teacher is the sweetest and coolest teacher I have ever had in my past schools. She's very hands on and loves to help her students become a great Phlebotomist. The school is also great and they help out with payment plans so you're not feeling stressed out financialy. I would recommend this course and school to anyone who wants to be in the medical field.

Florida Health academy is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Medical instituted that provide small curses of 6 weeks to obtain different certification such as: Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Home Health Aid, Electrocardiogram and more. It is a certified School and one great thing about it is that the State Exam or National Exam could be taken in the same school once you apply is prometric.com The reason it is great is because you are used to the environment around you and makes the student have less stress.
