Me and my family have lived here for 5 years and we had absolutely no issues. The staff is amazing from the moment we moved in up until now with us moving out. Ms Marlene and Karen will always go above and beyond for you as long as you communicate they will be there for you 100%. They have seen my children grown up and they have even allowed my child to stay in the club house if we aren’t home on time. I can’t say enough good things about this complex and i never leave reviews but this was necessary. Had we not put grown the space is still be here. Thanks you guys

My boyfriend and I have been living here for 5 months so far and we love it. We were skeptical given the reviews here on Google. When we moved we really didn’t want to be in an apartment but it’s what had to happen. The apartment we rent is the mulberry and it’s very spacious. When we applied my boyfriend was unemployed and Karen at the leasing office was super helpful in letting us know which documents we needed to provide to be approved. The whole process from showing to signing our lease took about a month only because we were waiting on the unit we wanted to be available. The community

I am typically not one to complain about people or places on reviews. However, my money here apparently isn’t good enough for them here. I was approved via credit check. They asked for me to prove my income, as a 1099 independent contractor only about 50% of my income is physically shown on my tax forms, so I wasn’t approved. Frustrating but Understandable. I then asked if I could give them cash upfront and they rejected that because they don’t accept prepaid leases. They basically told me that because I didn’t have a certain outrageous number in my bank account to show them, that my money

The leasing office and everyone in there are horrible! The maintenance guys talk to people any kinda way and they never handle things that need to be done at a timely fashion! The complex is always icy when it’s snows! This place is the worst in northville! I’ll stayed in places better than this in Detroit for less money! I will be going back after my lease it up! I hope and wish no one ever comes and supports this company/business! Also one last thing! After people write reviews on the pros and cons, the leasing office will write a review back basically blaming the resident for whatever issues

Glad I read some of these reviews! Having second thoughts about signing a lease after being presented the wrong price on the brochure given to me at time of showing. When applying online, it's $20 more, and the leasing agent has made no offers or attempts to compensate for the false listing. I know $20/month isn't huge--but I'm a teacher and try to be very frugal. Also concerned about the integrity of management.

If you have other choices, DO NOT move here!!!
To start with bad side, pretty bad snow removal and during winter, all pathways and parking lots are very very icy. I fell down and broke my elbow.
Also, maintenance crew will enter your apartment without asking! Imagine the surprise when I found out...
Third, the toilet is clogged first month I moved in; they fixed it. Second month, it is clogged again. They came fixed it and blame me for it and charged me for $25. Because they didn't fix it right first time and I'm paying extra? I tried to dispute the charge with their manager and no luck.

I've lived at the Glens for 3 years, I love it here. The office gals are pleasant, efficient and genuine, maintenance is quick to respond and thorough, and the neighbors are friendly. You will not find a better price for the location, service, apartment space and amenities. Don't let past events scare you off. I lived in a building, where unfortunately a fire occurred, and was eager to come back...that was over 2 years ago. Keep up the stellar work everyone.

The office staff at this complex are very pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to any customer requests to make sure needs/concerns are fulfilled. When searching apartments over 5 years ago this complex was one of the first I located to be “Pet friendly”. While we continue to see the rising trend of pet friendly apartments, this place is still my favorite. The staff knows my dog by name and is very kind to interact on a personal level.
