Services
In 1953, Raymond R. Raisian founded the Raisian Funeral Home. For 30 years Raymond served families in Northeast Ohio providing them with true care and compassion. Joe, Raymond's son, joined the family business in 1983 and continues to give families a sense of comfort only a family business can provide, as it has since it began.
Joe is a 1977 graduate of Conneaut High School. He went on to study at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated cum laude in 1983. He returned to his home town and mentored under his father and funeral home founder, Raymond R. Raisian. An avid golfer, motorcycle enthusiast and Lake Erie boater; Joe is very involved in his community, serving on various boards within the churches and the City of Conneaut.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Years ago, Funeral Services were two to three days long and usually very tiresome and emotionally difficult. Today, there are many choices for families to best fit their needs. One to two days of calling hours with varying hours of visitation, same day Funeral Service with visitation, graveside services, or direct burials are some of the many choices for families today.
The Raisian Family Funeral Home offers families many choices when it comes to selecting cremation services. We utilize the latest in crematory retorts. In the spring of 1999, the Raisian Family Funeral Home along with the Family Care Group, built its own crematory to serve the needs of families in Northeast Ohio.

Mr Raisin and family were a God Send to me as my husband passed away in June 2020, in the Covid 19 Pandemic. They knew what I needed and served me and my family during a difficult ordeal in a difficult and abnormal time. They excelled in communication with me, explaining options and excelled in caring for me. They make everyone feel like members of their own family

Joe, Dana and Jeff Raisian have been friends of the Pignotti Family over my 65 years. Joes father Ray Raisian took care of all my families needs since the late 50’s. My mom and dad had all the respect in the world for Ray and The Raisian Funeral Home and they passed that respect down to my sisters and I. There has never been one complaint on Rays, Joes and now Jeff’s expertise. As far as compassion, Joe has cried along with me on many occasions. Recently with my mom, Eleanor Pignotti. All their work has always been impeccable. There is no other choice for The Pignotti’s other than The Raisian
