Pasquale (Pat) S. Mattera is the owner of the Mattera Funeral Home. The funeral home serves the families of Albion, Cranesville, Conneautville, Springboro, and West Erie County. We offer traditional funeral, cremation and pre-arrangement services, with 52 years of service to the community. Making funeral arrangements, whether it be at need or pre-need arrangements, can be very sensitive and difficult.
At the Mattera Funeral Home, counseling is important to us in order to serve each family with the highest professional standards. Pasquale says We are here to provide comfort to you and your family in your time of need. We will do everything possible to make sure you are taken care of during this difficult time.

Services
Because each individual family has personal desires and needs, we are happy to discuss costs on an individual basis. At the Mattera Funeral Home, we want you to know that we do care about you and your family. We want to assure you that during this difficult time, we will do everything we can to provide comfort and support to you and your family.
At the Mattera Funeral Home, we offer a wide range of preplanning options. After discussing particular needs and wishes with each family, we will give you a price quote at today's prices. You have the option of pre-paying or pre-funding a funeral. If you do wish to pay for a pre-arranged funeral we offer both insurance and trust funding.
When we lose a loved one, it is often a bewildering and difficult time in our lives. At first we find ourselves in shock, and dealing with the intense denial and strong emotions death can bring. Trusting:On the other hand, we may feel emotionally numb, and overwhelmed with disbelief. We may also experience the deep and unbearable pain of grief.
We encourage parents to bring their children to visitation and funeral services. Death is part of life and children need to understand that at an early age. However, we do offer the convenience of a kids play room so that they can still attend with you but have access to toys and games at the same time.
