Planet Fitness in general no matter which one you go to is always clean and sanitized hands down! They endorsed cleanliness prior to the pandemic so this is not a new thing for them.
I agree need more leg presses but other than that can't complain. Also mask mandate rules are not in their control so please give them a break!

Honestly the most clean gym there is right now. I've gone to city sports in Richmond, workers there don't walk around cleaning. My partner goes to 24 hours in San Pablo and he says they never clean anything. And to be honest I've gone to both Pinole and San Pablo planet fitness and both are super clean with workers walking around sanitizing during this whole pandemic.

My bf and I walked into this gym and got turned around because the man claimed his screen told him not to let us in. It was quite confusing when our other PF gym didn't have a problem. The man was Hispanic and so is my bf so I can't really say it was a race issue.
My bf checked and called the number in the app and they said there's nothing wrong on our side. So to this day that night remains a mystery as to why we couldn't work out. I'm giving three stars tho because when I looked around I seen everyone keeping distance as they should,cleaning their station when done and

So I am giving one star due to the difficulty I've had in cancelling this gym membership for the past year. Prior to the pandemic, I tried calling and they stated I needed to go in-person to my home gym. Then they closed due to the pandemic and I could never get a hold of anybody, no voicemail greeting or anything staying who I could call or when they would re-open. I am being charged the annual membership fee again for the second year in a row when I have not stepped into this gym for over 14 months and the manager just refused to return this second fee which is all I was asking. I liked

Customer Service, I can sympathize with the challenges of the Covid-19 lockdown, but if you're going to charge your customer 3 times, you should at least have the customer service to respond to emails, phone calls and letters. How about not charging the customer at all if you can't provide the minimum service of responding to their messages.

Lemme start on a positive note. Planet fitness is great for $10 a month and it has everything you need to get a good workout in. The culture of a nonjudgmental zone is awesome and encourages others to pursue their fitness goals without being gym intimidated.
This location is still relatively new so the facility is pretty nice! My only complaint is that the staff are heeeeelllla lazy. There's always a flock of them just standing at the front not doing anything. Hey Im not their manager its all good if you wanna chill but NOT when there's no paper towels or empty spray bottles to clean

It's a nice gym is not as big as the planet fitness in Vallejo it's clean the staff here just aren't as friendly and as professional and when you come in they're not like oh hi how you doing have a great work out sometimes they just look at you scan your card and you just keep walking I just don't like that

Honestly, I have heard some INTERESTING things about planet fitness, so I was a bit hesitant to go. I was visiting home for the week and needed a guest pass. I'm totally glad I went because theres literally nothing wrong about this place ?!!!?! So not really sure why the rating is only 3 stars!!
For the week guest pass, it's $15, which I found to be a very reasonable price! The lady who signed me up was very friendly and explained everything - didn't oversell me and just let me do my thing.
The facility seems pretty clean to me!!! And there are SO MANY MACHINES and SO LITTLE

This is an overall great gym with the very basics. It's always clean and well staffed. The price is right for what you get. I pay the extra for the spa bc to me, it's worth it. My only gripe is that you're not allowed to jump rope. This is stupid. The reason explained to me is bc it's a liability. To whom? I'm in shape. I know how to jump rope. Someone could drop a weight on their foot too. I think they need to relax with the gym intimidation policy. Aren't we all there to get in shape after all? Stop with the free bagels or pizza once a month. That's not a reward

It is similar to the Carson and Inglewood/Imperial location. They have everything those other two places have INCLUDING plenty of parking.
And like the other two I've checked out, all levels of staff were friendly and available when needed. Every patron I encountered were the same AND every single one of them made sure they wiped their equipment clean once they were done.
Bathrooms were also clean, ditto the black card spa areas. Really, EVERY area I encountered was with no kind of clutter or mess. Staff were walking around making sure spray cleaners and paper towels were abundant in every

Okay this place is going downhill, and fast. They currently have no paper towels in the entire facility (it's been 4 days now) and they also have no soap in the restrooms and instead have had sanitizer out.
So now everyone who uses the bathroom who is unable to wash their hands also can't clean their machines? This place is literally a breeding ground for germs to spread.
Not to mention the staff are either way too friendly and say I don't have to be signed in OR try to force me to hand over my keys saying it's "policy" that they have to have my keys in their hand

I really like Planet Fitness and this location a lot. It suits my needs and has what I need. If you're into weight lifting and take the hobby seriously then PF might not be the best choice for you. For $10 a month it's perfect for me since I'm able to go in and do my workout with no problems. There aren't any free weights other than dumbbells which is fine by me since I don't care to workout around the serious weight lifters. The staff does a very good job keeping the facility clean. Both Ryan and Tyler have done a great job running this location and hope they continue

I called again and they had the audacity to claim they don't have a system for that. Certainly not a good first impression for a previously potential client.

I joined this gym when it was first built back in the day. I left for a few years and now came back. Still the same Planet Fitness - nothing fancy, nothing extra.
I use the cardo machines and to be honest, I really wish they had a class or two. I would take anything at this point because just cardio gets so boring so fast.
That said it is clean, convenient and I really appreciate that Monday through Thursday they are open 24 hours. Never had issues here even when I had to cancel my membership the first time, noone gave me drama as they did in some other gyms I belonged to.
