Staff members at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Jeffrey L. Brown, son of Paul J. "Bud" and Martha Kilgore Brown, has continued the family tradition started by his great Great Grandfather Calvin Brown.

Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

They managed my father's services in December of 2019, and then apparently failed to order his VA grave marker, which was their responsibility. I spent a year calling them to get a status on it, which proved pointless, as despite 30-40 messages that I left for them, I never got a single call back. Finally, I called the Veterans Administration itself, who said Hartselle Heritage had never even submitted the request to them. For a year, my father has had no grave marker, and Hartselle Heritage has refused to return my calls. I would not entrust them with another loved one's funeral/burial service
