Services
Legacy Chapel is the newest and only Funeral Home in Madison City, Alabama. We have been open since April of 2016 and are located on the corner of Hughes Road and Madison Blvd. Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is the dream of Mark Slaton and Rhonda Rolin. Mark and Rhonda have worked in Madison County for a combination of over forty years in the funeral industry.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Legacy Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. A quiet and caring touch is needed when meeting families who have just lost a loved one.
A Children's room: This room is there for families when children become fussy during a service or if they just need to be changed, nursed, or need to get away from the adults and relax for a few minutes. A Cremation Viewing room: This room is available for families who wish to view the body being placed in the crematory.

In the past week, my siblings and I lost our brother Stephen Berg in very unexpected circumstances. My brother was new to the Madison area and we are not. We said a prayer and googled local funeral homes and our hearts led us to Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory. We called and Shannon immediately gifted us with her professionalism and guidance. My father recently passed and Legacy Chapel handled his cremation. I want people to know just how much I appreciate the dignity and empathy that was shown to me as we were making my father's arrangements. We were allowed to see my father on the day the arrangements were made and had visitation before his cremation. Thank you Mark and Melissa for your comforting words and the way you handled our loss.

From start to finish the process was quick and friendly. During a trying time no one wants to think of prices but it’s necessary and they were priced fairly and less than most for the same procedures. Legacy Chapel is a locally, family owned, full service funeral home and crematory. The professional staff and services they provide are exceptional in every respect. These people truly care and will do everything possible to make a difficult loss more bearable for loved ones. Their pricing is very competitive while at the same time, their facility is beautiful, immaculate, and extremely peaceful. They provide a loving and caring environment for families and the community at large. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs help during their most difficult time.

My mother came to visit me in Alabama and unfortunately during her time here her cancer returned. We spoke with Legacy Chapel about 2 weeks prior to my mothers passing and they were fabulous in answering our questions regarding transporting her back to CA when the time came. The day of her passing will stay with me forever. Mark and Brooke showed up to transport her and they couldn't have been kinder or sweeter. When my dad passed away suddenly my family was left with the difficult task of making arrangements for his memorial service.
