The food is good. I'm not much on rolls but these are delish. The staff... Amazing. They're super kind, very attentive and they treat you like family.

Terrible experience tonight. The waiter was awesome, but everyone’s meal was brought out 15 minutes apart. My father-in-law got “all you can eat chicken” and was only able to get four chicken tenders. They… somehow ran out of chicken. When the manager came to discuss the issue, she didn’t seem to care.
When it came time to pay for our food, they wouldn’t take a gift card that purchased last month because they decided to change credit card systems.
Poor management and service tonight. If I was the owner, I would be embarrassed for this experience.

This place is beautiful outside & the food was excellent! I will definitely go back! Its not far from the Bluegrass Outlet Mall & Middletown. Highly recommend!!

We had our family thanksgiving here today, and the food was fantastic, perfectly cooked & delicious. The best part though, was our server, Blaze and his great personality & genuine attitude to make us feel comfortable.

Hands down the BEST restaurant food both my boyfriend and I have ever had! Absolutely delicious and well worth the 1.5 hrs drive to get there, as well as the prices!
We got Claudia Sanders Special with creamy spinach, green beans, mashed taters, lots of rolls (lol), baked apples... I could have ate the whole menu 😋 Definitely huge portions and enough for take home. $60 + tip was all it cost.
Highly recommend 👌 Thank you CSDH for the awesome food and positive experience!

I have lived in Shelbyville KY my whole life been going to Claudia Sanders my whole life never had a problem until this past Sunday ordered 40 wings chicken tenders a pint of mashed potatoes and gravy and 8 rolls we get there they charge us for 8 dozen rolls and no gravy when we try and explain to the manager there was a mistake she gets loud and causes a big scene they ended up making us pay for all these rolls we didn't order then we call them they won't admit it was their mistake will tell you their looking into it they'll call you back and never do be careful

We drove about 2 hours to eat at this place. Have always heard good things about it. We were seated, the waitress got our drinks, and when she returned to take our order, she noticed a roach crawling on the wall beside me. I used the menu to kill it & left it on the small chair rail ledge on the wall. The waitress went to tell her manager & the manager literally started the conversation with "I cant compensate your meal" & "There are plenty of other places in town to eat". She made my girlfriend & I feel like we were being asked to leave. When she asked what she could do, I asked if she could clean

A community staple, this noble establishment should be visited by all for the history alone! On top of that the family style meals are very tasty! Do yourself a Kentucky favor and visit this piece of our own fame… you’ll be glad that you did!

Nice atmosphere. The servers were nice. It helps to speak a second language. I had a great conversation with one of The cooks. The fried chicken was ok. The sides were nice but tasted mostly canned. The roast beef was nice. It was nice to see Harvard beets on the buffet..
