Services
Divorce: I provide strategic counsel to individuals facing divorce, marriage dissolution, or legal separation. I have extensive experience in litigation and negotiations, including mediation. Child Custody: I work with child custody and support issues including enforcement, paternity actions and modifications to original orders.
I understand how overwhelming it is to deal with legal matters, especially when they involve emotional situations. I am tenacious in fighting for your rights and best interests, and am compassionate and understanding of your needs during your divorce. I and my staff will guide you through this difficult process and get you through it.
Why should you hire me to prepare your Trust documents? With so many self-help businesses available, it seems that one could save money by purchasing a trust form from a legal document service, and filling in the blanks. However, buyer beware - if an important legal decision is made without the advice of counsel, the cost of the mistake will not be cured after death.
Estate Planning is the practice of analyzing a person's over-all financial picture, strategizing to minimize estate tax, considering testamentary and other family needs, and implementing the plan of action. The concept of the "Family Trust" or "Revocable Living Trust" is basic to creating an estate plan.
A Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Affairs (DPOA) appoints someone you trust to handle financial and legal transactions on your behalf during your lifetime. You can choose to have it take effect immediately or only go into effect upon incapacitation. When used properly, the DPOA can avoid the need to establish a Conservatorship.

I've now used Linda K. Ross twice now for two separate issues a few years apart. I was recommended to her by a family friend that used Linda during their divorce and were happy with the service Linda provided. After retaining two other attorneys that I was less than happy with, I retained Linda and could not have been happier about that decision. Linda was clear and upfront about her fees/retainer, and the services she provided. I was also very happy about the communication from her and her office throughout both matters. I was never left in the dark about anything, and I really appreciated

The court appointed Linda Ross to represent my mom in an elder abuse case. Linda never revealed to my mom the extent of her fees. When the case was over, she sent to my mom a large bill.
When my mom explained that the fees were beyond their ability to pay and requested a more reasonable monthly payment, Linda responded that she would take additional measures against my parents if they did not make payment in the amount determined by Linda.
My parents are on a fixed income, so they'll be feeling the effects of Linda's hidden fees for years to come. They got abused twice -- first by

Don't use this lawyer unless you want someone who will 'forget' to submit almost all the evidence you give her and subsequently cause you to lose everything, sell your home, shut down your business and listen to the judge declaring that her client was 'playing games with assets' (basically accuse them of lying) because none of the financial claims could be substantiated since the evidence was never submitted by this lawyer, even though it was given to her WAY in advance. Judge also claimed 'egregious lack of disclosure' and failure of 'disclosure 101&apos

Due to a lengthy divorce and a stubborn EX, my experience with Linda is a lengthy one gong on 9+ years now still protecting my alimony. Instead of choosing an overly promising, cutthroat, and gold digging firm, I went in the direction of INTEGRITY. I chose Linda because she is highly regarded in the judges eyes with her vast experience and honest direction. Needless to say, when the opposing counsels continue to drag things on, it is out of your attorney's hands. Linda works hard for your rights and does NOT charge ridiculous frivolous fees just to nickel and dime you like other firms

In my experience, Linda Ross is a not a lawyer I could recommend. She charged too much, gave bad advice, and then failed to complete my case. She displayed greediness, not legal savvy. My divorce dragged on and cost almost $40,000. I gave her all of my life savings and she came after me for more $ after leaving me hanging legally. I had to find another lawyer! Divorce is already hell and, in my situation, Linda K. Ross made it worse.
