Our parents started this restaurant in 1987 after they immigrated from Hong Kong. Like many others, through hard work they established a great reputation with their philosophy. I struggle with giving this two stars, but technically the place is bad for what they're advertising. I would very much call this the McDonald's of Chinese food. Sometimes you're in the mood for a McDouble, but that doesn't make it good. Same deal here - fast food quality. If it were advertised as such, this would be an easy 4 star review.
They were very friendly, decently priced, and good portions. I'll probably even go back when I'm in the mood for bad comfort food. However, I can't lie, the food was bad compared to what I expect from a Chinese place...

Dined in for lunch, on Sunday 1/2/2022 and was disappointed. Service was slow, the sesame chicken was tough as leather and tasted burnt. Sweet n sor pork had no flavor. The bright spots; egg roll and plum sauce were excellent, and my coke was cold!
I would be willing to try again. That would be kind sir/ma'am.

Last month when we ordered we received a STAPLE in our sweet and sour chicken. I can't even imagine what could have happened if I digested that. Owner didn't seem too apologetic - just had a "sorry, we will let the guys know" response. Comped a free meal, but that's about it.
However, we gave them another chance. Today, ordered cashew chicken and received peanuts instead. Not the end of the world, but we are paying for cashews. No comp given.
Not sure if we will go back.

Family always loved the food, but the quality of food and service has turned into such a disappointment 😞 the 1st couple of times we attributed to hard to get staff, and from loyalty, would come once a month...then...we got a to go order, half order was wrong, called back to let them know, and Sara who took the order and picked up when I called back, hung up on me. I was kind and polite, but that was the final time. I hope the service and food returns to previous excellence.... but .....not willing to waste my money on it.....hoping you can turn it around

My favorite Chinese place in Livingston county. Get their fried dumplings they’re the best I’ve ever had. You get a lot of them and they are cheap in price - great value! Honestly everything on the menu is a great value. Lots of food, good price, and the service is always quick.

Not gonna lie, I was super upset when I left that it took so long to get my food tonight because you guys were so busy. BUT it all went away the second I took my first bite of food. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL and totally worth the wait. It was the first time I had ever been there, and I totally see what the buzz is about. We will most certainly… be back soon rather than later. It didn't have that gross fake Chinese taste, it was absolutely delicious, and I have a feeling I'll be craving your almond chicken and crab Rangoon. The best Chinese I've ever had! Thank you!
