We opened the doors to Cafe Aroma in October of 2004. Over the next 11yrs we have brightened customer's mornings and put smiles on their faces by serving them gourmet coffees and baked goods. We have forged friendships that will never be forgotten. In 2014 we decided to start a new chapter in our story by expanding the business and relocating into Fenton's new Cornerstone Building.
A bar was constructed along with more seating and a larger kitchen. The interior was finished to be reminiscent of an old bar in an industrial building. The reclaimed brick, lighting and other structural elements provide a comfortable and relaxed feel. By December of 2014 the Rough Draught Coffee and Barroom was born.

Had a build your own burger with fries. Made just a standard cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheddar cheese. The burger was delicious. Had to wipe my hands a few times due to the juices coming off the burger. The fries are the air fryer type. They were terrible. I didn't eat them. They were cold and very wet. I think they needed to cook a little more. The waitress was nice about it and offered to have another batch made but I declined. I only had a soft drink but from looking at the other people in the place, it looked like they were enjoying their cocktails, shots

New York city prices with nothing special. The staff was nice the coffee was good but the food was only kind of okay. Only a few girls on the staff were allowed to talk to most customers and treated the others horribly making them stand back and do dishes and bus tables because they "don't want to" do it them self. Yes that is a quote being nice to customers just to turn around and be awful to new/young employees made me sick. 2 stars is being generous just another small business that took off because of hype and now has out of touch ownership that probably sees the floor once a month. Overall the place is really good and I enjoy their coffee, but one of the employees working there put in whole milk while I was looking at it and when I asked her if it's almond milk, she said yes. Now I could be mistaken, but she did pause and was confused for a second when I asked her about it.
I think it would be helpful if they can be honest.

The 2nd star was due to the burger being absolutely amazing. I went in on a Saturday evening and it was not busy. A few tables full and a half empty bar, but there were at least 5-6 bar and waitstaff working. I was worried when 2 younger female bartenders looked at me and pretended to be busy instead of greeting me. After a few minutes, the third and more mature looking one came over and was very friendly. I told her I’d never been there and showed an interest in the food and drink menu. We were there on Thursday evening. The special was a draft beer and a burger from their menu for $12.00. I ordered a burger that was listed at $15.00. It was huge and spot on, the way it was cooked and toppings. I could only eat 1/2 the burger. Caitlin was our bartender. She did a great job! Highly recommend.

Took the family for brunch on Sunday - only to find out brunch stops at noon, I mean seriously on a weekend. So ok, we order from the lunch menu, it literally took 45 minutes for our burgers, blt and chicken chili. Now lets address the chicken chili - my advice is, dont order it, unless your in the mood for chicken chunks swimming in water with beans. Absolutely terrible. The atmospheres is hip & cool - 5 stars for that, but the service, disinterested waitstaff and food quality, 1 star, for an average of 2.5.

I usually really enjoy coming here, however the last few times I have come in I have waited over an hour for food- while watching other tables come and go before my guests and I. Today we were asked if we were "in a rush" after waiting an hour for food- AFTER being told we had to wait until 12pm for lunch (we sat down at 11:50am)

This place is really cool, they make awesome cocktails, and the food is something to write home about. I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints! The food is unique, interesting, and delicious. The cocktails are made with care & pride and include a plethora of different flavors/alcohol combinations-- true beverage art! The atmosphere is industrial-cool with graffiti and vintage in every direction you look. Staff is always down-to-earth, welcoming, and friendly-- exactly what you want at a place like this. The review about being ignored made me laugh. I can 1 up that story. Once I went in for lunch. After waiting at a table, I finally went to the counter. Got a staff members attention and placed my order. I didn't want to be pushy but I only have an hour for lunch. The waitstaff for the section finally noticed me. I explained I had ordered already. When my food came from the kitchen she set it down behind the counter. Came to the table, confirmed my order. Went back to the counter, took the food from the plate, boxed it as a to go order and gave it to me. I haven't tried dining in since

What used to be a favorite spot for coffee, smoked white fish dip, even a beer (hope its a clean glass) or a meal....is no more.
Last Saturday, 4/6, stopped in for breakfast with the wife and eventually a coffee to go for each of us.
Breakfast sandwiches (BREAKFAST) took nearly an hour, with no check ins by waitstaff to see if we needed anything while we waited. Apparently our empty glasses and dehydrated looks were not enough.
Finally, our orders arrived. Meh.

I asked a local server in the area where to get a good cup of coffee and work from. She said you have to go here! So I took her at her word. Ladies and gentlemen I have had the worst espresso shot in my entire life. I'm not even exaggerating.

Exploring nearby, we only came in for coffee so I'm not sure if the food and cocktails are worth checking out but the Americano I ordered was the worst I've had. I'm pretty sure it was a single shot of espresso with way too much water added. It made me sad since it tasted like dirty water and not a caffeinated delight. My wife's regular coffee was also so hot that it was unsippable for 10 minutes. I know hot coffee is supposed to be served HOT but they must be using near boiling water. Good luck drinking your beverage anytime soon after you order it. I was also surprised that

Sure, there's a menu with lots and lots of food, and yeah, I bet some of it is great and most of it is straight up average (just a guess, I've never eaten here). The drinks, though - they are mighty nice. Huge selection, nice bar-to-table-ratio seating, and friendly barkeeps.
Highly recommend starting a Fenton evening here with a chill drink, and/or ending a night here with a nightcap or, if you're old & caffeine-unaffected like myself, a Shot In The

I used to come here every day when they were Cafe Aroma. The service is different now. Great atmosphere but if im stopping in for a bagel before work i really dont want to have to wait for a server & tip. I preferred the old methods.
Came here last Friday with my girlfriend. 2 drinks were $18. My friend has celiacs & they offer no gluten free menu which is odd nowadays. Server suggested we eat salads. We left to go elsewhere. Disappointed
