I first started out as a renter. I thought it was quite odd that even with amazing credit and great renters history that we were required to pay two months of deposit +1st months rent upfront, but whatever we had the money. As we rented a home from them, there were many repairs that needed to be done including a faulty kitchen light but the repair was left because he didn't deem it necessary. Our landlord likes to hop property companies. We have had the pleasure of working with Rock over 3 other companies in the past 6 years, due to this. We have had nothing but the best experience from this company out of all of them. This company is very personable and quick to respond to your needs. Walt and Susan have been excellent. Not only did they help me find and buy my home, they maintained and kept it rented for 7 years, as I was transferred to Australia shortly after I made the purchase. I have been using Rock Properties for close to 3 years and have found the service and property management excellent. I had a difficult situation with my duplex where bad tenants rented by a previous property management ruined both units of the property requiring extensive remodeling. We recently used Rock properties to sell our home. I must admit, I fought Walt on the changes he suggested we make to the house in order to move it quickly. Our home ended up sitting on the market for several weeks. Once we broke down and made the changes he suggested, we had an offer within a week! I had the best experience with Rock Properties. Walter is very knowledgeable about real estate market in Austin area since he's been in the business for a very long time.
