One of the non stratifying experiences for me with prop management.
My rent was increased over night without any notification and when I called to get more details or know when or how this happened, all what I got was a text message that I was informed with that increase and it is effective!!! I haven't received or acknowledge that piece of information! I went thru the lease contract and nothing is mentioned there. Also I went back to my inbox and had found no emails about that increase! i texted them and sent them an email hoping I can get the chance to be shown where or when I was informed

Owners of properties beware! These guys are one of a kind. Super disrespectful of people's time. Amanda had us waiting for 40 min over the agreed appointment time to visit a rental property. Finally her husband apparently showed up.
I would never trust them my property if I were an owner looking for a property management company. They don't pick up the phone and when they finally do this Brad guy uses a very condescending and fake tone that any person without a serious mental disability would be able to spot right away.

This company claims to be a property management company.
My experience is that they take your $40 application fee and then promptly tell you that the property in question is not available.
I applied for a San Diego two bedroom on a Sunday night staying up until 3 am to complete the application only to receive an automatic email notice at 945 am Monday morning that the property was not available.
Never heard back from the company until Wednesday four days later when I was told at 1055 am that I could look at the property at 1130 am that same day.
It is well known that the San Diego housing

Lease ended May 01, still have not gotten ,my deposit returned over 1.5 months later. Now saying I have to wait 30 more days in order to cancel the check? So that will be at minimum 2.5 months after lease ended until I get the deposit returned. I gave them clear instructions on where to send it and they messed it up twice and will not give me any other option.

First of all, the day I moved in, the garage remote was not working properly and when I contacted them for help, they were very rude and tried to charge me for a new one right off the bat. I HADN'T EVEN FINISHED MOVING MY STUFF IN.
Then, if an issue occurred in the apartment, they would always push back and even asked us to attempt to repair a broken sink ourselves!
Finally, moving out was a nightmare and they refused to release me from the contract at the end of the lease. I'm finally free after a

Absolute thieves, high priced properties with poor maintenance, we knew we would not get our deposit back, the place was not move in ready, was a hassel to get it to be. Left the place better then We found it, took $1500 away from us. So many maintenance problems, costed us money. The horrible Manager of the company name is Amanda, evil women, a not to bright Stephanie. And quite pleasant and only good thing apart of this company is a property management assistant Cody, he was cool.

I live out of state and have had AMG props take care of my property since 2012. They have done a phenomenal job of handling any issues related to the property and tenants. They contact you immediately of any issues that need to be resolved and give a quote as to how much the repair is and are willing to get multiple quotes if asked. I feel like they are pretty well connected in the community that there prices are competitive. We have been very impressed with the customer service of AMG Props since we began renting here at the beginning of January. When we first moved in, we had some issues with internet, cable and heat and when we notified them about this, Kevin was sent over on a weekend day (his day off). He fixed everything we needed done as well as some extra tasks that he saw needed attending to. I believe they value customer service for their renters and we appreciate that very much. I have been renting from AMG Props for a few years - the staff is friendly and helpful, and everyone can assist you, so if your main contact is away, you will still get great help. They have an amazingly easy to use Tenant Portal, you can pay rent electronically, as well as submit any maintenance requests. Quick to respond as needed, but our property is well maintained by them so we hardly need to contact them for any fixes. Happy to be renting from them!

They only work for the owners and could not care less if the tenant is happy. We lived in the property for 3 years with continuous problems. The ONLY reason we stayed was because I had a baby and there was too much on my plate to find another rental. They took the following from our security deposit: $308 in carpet cleaning (1000 sq ft condo), $210 for cleaning and $325 for maintenance repairs. Let's discuss the maintenance repairs portion which really gets under my skin. The owner's husband is their maintenance man... Soooo one would assume that the work is done at cost. One of the repairs

AMG is absolutely the WORST Property Management Company out there. Lived at a property managed by them, and they kept over $1300 of my security deposit for painting and cleaning? Over $500 for painting (place was not freshly painted when we moved in), in fact horrendous touch up job, with paint that didn't even match existing color. Over $500 for cleaning/turn over by a company called Military Clean. Place was not military clean when we moved in. AMG Props has managed my elderly parents' rental properties for well over two years. I recently saw an apartment for rent. It was a little expensive, but it did have a washer and dryer in the unit and it was in a good location. I applied and sent Cody, who showed me the apartment, an email. I never got a response, and in two days the property was unlisted and they took my $40 application fee. The least you could have done is responded to my email. Luckily, I found another apartment just as good and for $300 cheaper, so it all worked out. But still, my experience with this company was very unprofessional

DO NOT RENT ANY PROPERTY managed by this company. They berate you, scream at you on the phone, tell lies about other clients, make you sign rental contracts with illegal charges, and steal your money. Unit needed necessary repairs which were never taken care of during tenancy and then tenant was charged for those repairs upon move out. Charged for having limes in the garbage disposal!! Are you kidding me??? Run, don't walk away from ever signing on with this property management company.

This property management is a joke! They lack integrity and seem to misconstrue circumstances to their advantage. We recently gave a 30 day notice to vacate the condo we had rented for 3 years. Prior to vacating we had the carpets professionally cleaned and hired a cleaning vendor to thoroughly clean the unit. We inspected the condo and the property was turned over in impeccable condition. We paid a total of $565.00 for both services. I am writing as a tenant of one of AMG's properties. I had a negative experience from the start.
We moved into a house infested with mice, rats and roaches. We had a City of San Diego professional confirm that the infestation was due to a structural issue of the house, and that AMG was responsible for fixing it. AMG was notified of this, and refused to take action. The mice/rat issue became progressively worse, we could not sleep due to the amount of noise the mice were making. We trapped mice ourselves, but this was not enough, and the infestation continued. AMG refused to fix the structural

Amanda Gresiak, owner of AMG Props will unapologetically try to steal your money. This woman is dishonest and should learn better business conduct.
I recently moved out of a property she manages and there was a discrepancy about my deposit. My lease had been transferred to three different management companies and two owners during my 15 month residence. Instead of honestly researching the problem, Amanda tried to coax me into accepting my returned deposit $300 short, even after cleaning deductions

I was referred to Amanda/AMG to manage our duplex in North Park. She found wonderful tenants and vetted them fully. She helped us get the units ready and had some really great ideas to help maximize our return. Both units rented quickly and for the rents we wanted. She has been managing them flawlessly. Her monthly accounting is easy to understand and her year end statements make tax preparation a breeze. I highly recommend AMG!
