One year ago, our little Sugies passed away. Small Animal Hospital in Sand Springs knew that she was dying for they were her vet for the last six years of her life, and yet they refused to fit her in when I called the following Monday morning, after she had spent the weekend in the ER. The receptionist told me that if I still needed them to see Sugar on Thursday (in other words, if she was still alive by then), then to call them on Thursday [They would have been booked then and wouldn’t have been able to see her]. Our Sugies died on Thursday at the Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists ER, which lovingly

I had just moved to the area and had an emergency with my cat. His prognosis was not good, but they got him through the first couple of nights, calling me with updates twice a day, tried to be consciences of limited budget. I highly recommend!

When we moved here several months ago I chose this vet thinking they would be as good as the Small Animal Hospital in Catoosa. I was wrong. First of all, they never did blood work on my pet. For a new patient who is going to be doing a monthly treatment, blood work should be done first, in my opinion. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have requested this first thing, but I thought they would know what they were doing. Wrong again! They started my cat on monthly steroid shots. They told me to make an appointment for the next shot, but when I showed up for the appointment they said I didn't

My baby needed help transitioning to heaven. Everyone there was so nice and sympathetic. They gave us plenty of time to say good bye. Definitely had the best price also (by far!). Thanks ladies!

I had to have my sweet dachsie, Bella euthanized last week. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Everyone was so caring and compassionate. Yesterday, I received a sympathy card in the mail, signed by all of the staff. I love this vet and highly recommend.

Dr. Hartwig is our doctor and she is the best, not only is she very kind but she is an amazing vet she knows her stuff. I personally feel very lucky that we have her. If you need to make an appointment with them I would do it in about a week in advance because they are so good they do stay very busy. The price is also very affordable.

I have taken all of my dogs there, for any and everything. Including boarding, surgery and routine shots and check ups. The counter service is maybe slow to the humans.... The whole staff works so well with my dogs, that more than off sets things in my mind. I trust them with my girls.
