Small Animal Medicine refers to the treatment and diagnosis of smaller animals, such as dogs and cats but also many other species of animals. Our staff is highly trained and experienced in how to care for small animals like dogs and cats, as well as exotic and pocket pets. I picked up my adopted dog from Carbondale Vet. I walked in and was treated like family. We talked while doing the paper work. The team made me feel so comfortable. Even before I saw my dog I knew I had made the right decision on my my pet. I knew she was being well taken care of and a happy dog was going to come through the doors.

Dr. Tim has been our vet for many years! He runs a top notch office. He is very compassionant and understanding when we had to put our cat of 19.5 years down today. Even offered to say a prayer for him! He came up at almost 10 PM to meet me at the office when our other kitty passed away at home. We drive all the way from Claremore to West Tulsa to use his services!

Called in a day in advance to schedule an appointment for my sick puppy. Time was scheduled for 3. I was told to show up a few minutes early. Which I did. But was not told that they did not allow more than one person in the clinic at a time, or that they do not honor the time slot given. I waited over a half an hour in the parking lot with my dog in 100 degree heat with no response other than them telling me they would be with me shortly when I called to them I was here for my appointment. I wasn't the only person having to wait in the heat either. There was an elderly gentleman that was there

Dr. Tim, Katie, and “Aunt Karen” are awesome. I started taking my babies to them when I adopted a dog seven years ago. I moved across town and adopted another dog from the shelter and she now sees Dr. Tim. My… Lola has some serious anxiety issues, but the staff at Carbondale are great to work with me and her. She even boarded with them and got a good report from Katie! Oh, Lola says hello to her favorite vet tech!

Yesterday I had to put my Boxer Rocky to sleep. Everyone was sooo wonderful. I've known Katie her whole life. Dr. Hallman was Awesome even prayed for Rocky. Explained everything before he did it and what could happen. I have used Carbondale Vet off & on for years and highly recomend them. Their compassion was remarkable. Thank you all so very much.

My wife has taken both her guide dogs to this vet and they have both been treated with the best of care. They would even go so far as to recommend less cosly meds or procedures when such were available. Both… dogs were eventually put to sleep right in the same clinic with the same love and care they received during their lives. They really do put compassion before profits and, when we get another dog, they will be treated right there. There are animal care places much closer to where we live, but we still go well out of our way to get this kind of loving care. You should too.
