My husband and I booked the Astorian for our July 2020 wedding and cannot imagine a better experience planning with the Astorian. We worked with Dani, and she was just fantastic--such a prompt communicator, totally willing to chat with our parents directly when they had questions, and super willing to work with our budget and help us think through the process. Not to mention, Dani was kind, thoughtful, and very compassionate throughout an emotional and logistics-heavy planning process. She always followed up at the right moment, and we just love her! We both felt very supported by the Astorian

The Astorian was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding! We had our hearts set on this venue, but when Covid hit, weren't sure what our wedding would look like. They were responsive, accommodating, and just overall pleasant to work with, even as plans changed so frequently as covid numbers rose and fell. I am so grateful for Season and the team at the Astorian!

We were set to get married and have our reception at The Astorian on June 27th, 2020. We had to cancel all of our original wedding plans due to COVID-19 complications and The Astorian has not been cooperative in refunding any of the money we had paid them. We were hopeful they would have more understanding in the midst of a global pandemic and economic crisis, but unfortunately now we are out so much money that we can no longer have even close to the wedding we originally dreamed of. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. If you are looking to throw a once in a lifetime wedding that will impress your guests, this is it. From the second that you walk in, you can feel how special this place is.
The staff is on it. They are strict, but they take care of their building and you can tell how much they love it and treat it as if it were their own house.
Joe, one of the owners is so friendly and engaged. Alyssa is extremely organized and informative. I never had to ask her for a thing because she stayed on top of my wedding and all of the details that have gone in to putting it all together

Got invited to an amazing gala at this remarkable place. The lighting was intricately set to provide an upscale mood. The space was quite large and could hold over 100 easily and still have adequate space to move about and provide elite service. The setting of the very long bar landscaped by a nice array of beverages.... the elevator with someone who escorts you up and down ... the valet ... the well structured service staff that caters an amazing plate. We had steak and chicken with cornbread and gravy. The salad with house vinaigrette and dollop of ricotta was nice begin the night. The dessert

The Astorian was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding! Working with Season was easy, She was helpful, thoughtful and responsive to our needs. She made sure everything we asked for actually happened. The brides and grooms rooms are spacious and beautiful. The space was created with care and attention to detail. EVERYONE at the Astorian was helpful and accommodating. I can not say enough about how incredible the venue was. There are so many beautiful spots for taking photos. Most of our guests had never been to the Astorian and were all so complimentary.

This place was my dream venue for years solely based on photos I'd seen. Their winter open house was actually the first time I'd stepped a foot into the Astorian and I was completely blown away. If it fits your budget with all the preferred vendors (we're talking $10k+ for catering for 100 people) then don't hesitate. From a photographer's perspective, I could have a field day shooting a number of clients there. If industrial glam is what you're looking for then give the Astorian a visit.

Beautiful place. We we're here for a reception. Very elegant with lots of room. Used valet parking so can't tell much about parking area . Downtown but given that, reasonably good location. Nice area for reception table to greet people before they assend to beautiful reception area. Views nothing exciting but all in all a very nice place.

A fantastic venue for my cousins wedding and reception. About 250 people. The facility is turn of the century gothic decor with a NYC flair.
Food was excellent. Seafood and Chinese.
Staff was amazing bartenders were professionals. First class all the way.
Love the bathrooms with the pass the ooh waterfall.
Wedding was was first rate.

We were blown away with our experience at the Astorian. For starters, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! It is the perfection combination of industrial, chic, and timeless - not to mention the stunning views of downtown. Our coordinator, Season, made planning a 400 person event a breeze. She replied to all of our questions very quickly and provided so much patience with our dozens of site visits. She's extremely professional and kept us calm with the day of chaos. Our vision was executed perfectly - I would highly recommend the Astorian if you wish the same for your special day or event.

The better: really gorgeous space, lighting, views, well furnished, large bar space, multi-level areas for whatever you'd like to divide up (VIP, cake cutting, Photobooth, etc.)
The lesser: the shared bathroom sink (between men's and women's) can scare you to death if you are caught unawares. No real parking other than valet.
Observations: Fantastic warehouse/gothic/modern venue for event hosting. I don't know the cost, so that may or may not be prohibitive.

Great views- Manhattan Loft feel in Houston. I attended a wedding during which the large elevator was mysteriously out of commission. Certain family members could NOT climb 3 floors. When I told them about it they gave some phone excuse like not disturbing the wedding ceremony. Some guy from the kitchen finally came out with the magic key and made it work for one time.
Later on in the evening same story! My son had to help the priest make five painful trips down and up to move all the wedding gear, as the elevator was 'not' working again! Just not done! You don't build a loft on

My best friends got married here last weekend and I cannot get over how beautiful this place was. I had seen it with the bride a few times before they got married without all the tables, flowers, band set up, etc and it still blew me away.
My favorite part was the side bar area that she had set up in addition to the massive bar area. It was a private space away from everyone where guests could engage in more private, casual talk while sitting on chesterfield sofas. The Astorian is simply magnificent. I never considered having a traditional wedding, but after attending a wedding here several weeks ago, I'm beginning to have a change of heart.
Words really don't do this place any justice. The picture tell a better story than I ever could. The views are spectacular, it truly felt like a magical experience.
