Hello, my name is Heather and I am so excited to introduce myself as a new Dripping Springs photographer! Established in 2011, I worked in North Carolina for several years before relocating to the beautiful Hill Country in January of 2018. As a gift, my father gave me a camera when pregnant with my first child in 2008 and once the little one was here, I had nothing to do but take pictures of this beautiful, precious new being.
This is truly a dream come true. After five years of being a Raleigh area photographer, my husband and I built a studio on our third floor. It's been exhilirating to plan, pick out flooring, furniture, and design my dream space. It's so extremely functional but pretty too! We opened it a few weeks ago to former clients with a super fun round of bunny sessions and everyone enjoyed the new space.
As a Dripping Springs maternity photographer, the love for maternity portraits has grown out of the passion for newborns. The two go hand-in-hand and it's an honor to provide both stunning fine art images of both baby in belly and baby fresh out! Truly a miracle worth capturing. Maternity sessions are booked between weeks 34-36 of pregnancy in the Austin area of Texas.
Oh, how I love watching my newborn clients grow! It might be my favorite thing about being a Dripping Springs baby photographer. Baby milestone sessions are offered throughout baby's first year (newborn client or not) and are popular at 6-7 months when baby is sitting upright on his own, 8-9 months when baby is crawling but not yet walking, and of course at 12 months to celebrate the big birthday.
For this Dripping Springs family photographer, there is something about shooting into the sun that satisfies my soul. I love light and I love warmth, and what the sunshine offers photos is something I seek regularly in each of my family sessions. As your photographer, I will consult with you on your vision for your session and create one together if you don't have one.

Heather is not only an amazing photographer but she's an amazingly kind, generous, patient and down-to-earth fellow-mama. You won't regret working with her. She's uniquely gifted with newborns. Her new studio is drool-worthy from every little nook and cranny to all her props and background/flooring options.
I went with three busy boys for an Easter mini session. The live bunny was so fun. The portraits are precious and will be favorites for a long time. We will definitely return!

Heather did the newborn photo's for our little girl and they were absolutely perfect! Our session was just before Easter and Heather had a bunny in the studio which only added to the cuteness of our photos! Heather worked so well with our 3 week old little one and captured so many precious moments! She really took her time during the session, not rushing and making sure we had the photos that we wanted. We had our photos the next day and would not have changed a thing about them. It was a pleasure to work with Heather and we will be returning for all of our family picture needs!!

My husband and I were so lucky to find Heather! We were interested in maternity and newborn photography, and her work was something we were definitely looking for- one of a kind. Heather listens to what your vision is, and boy does she deliver! Our newborn photographs will be something we will always treasure, and it's all because of her talent and attention to detail! As first time parents, Heather was a steady hand throughout the process and worked with us to make sure we had all the photos that we would want to remember our newborn son. She was patient with our questions, thoughtful with our suggestions and extremely gracious to work with. With her help, our little guy has a collection of beautiful photos at a very reasonable price.
