Ed has been my mechanic since 2010. I found out about this place many years ago on the VWVortex forums. The goal was to find a shop that catered to BOTH car enthusiasts and daily drivers, rather than one or the other. Frankly, I have a very low student budget when it comes to car expenses, but I still believe it's better to consistently go to a garage you trust, rather than shopping around for the lowest quote.

We've been going to Maxed for over 20 years and they've always been honest and reasonable. I've never felt like I couldn't trust what they say which seems to be rare with auto repair shops (unfortunately). Ed would tell me what needs to be done right away and what could be done later which is great. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at this shop! Ed helped me out and I felt like he gave me very reasonable prices. There was one repair I was concerned about and I didn’t know if I should fix it or not and he was honest with me instead of trying to charge me more. Overall they have great customer service and I highly recommend going here!

Love the service. My grandmother was recommended by her old repair company. She has had nothing but the best. When we needed them to check something they did it for no charge. My grandma recommended i go see maxed to get my shifter repaired and they gave us the best deal!

First time ever sending any of my cars to a mechanic. 1962 bug told him to look it over and see what we need to make it street worthy. Towed it to his shop. Ed called me told me what was going to have to be done. He explained what was wrong and what he had to do to fix it gave me a price for everything individually. I approved the work. Called me this Friday told me it was ready to be picked up. I even picked it up on his day off!!. Drove home and all around town and everything is 💯 percent. Thank you so much Ed!
