Sauce on the Maggie Italian Restaurant dates back generations from the old country of Italy to America, the Taddeo family recipes are simply delicious. With over one hundred wines on the wine list one can find wines from all over the world with California and Italy leading the way. Start with the Bruschetta, Calamari, Eggplant Tower, Shrimp & Crab Cakes or one of our Signature Salads.
Sauce on the Maggie will be accepting reservations through Yelp Reservations. If you are making a reservation prior to the start of today's dinner service, please make a reservation online. For parties of greater then 20 people, or for special events like rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, family reunions or corporate gatherings please contact our banquet department.

The food was great. The service however, was not. We were one of the first tables seated and the last to leave because our food took so long. We are pretty sure they dropped it because we heard a crash in the kitchen. Which is okay if they would have just been honest with us. When it finally came out one of the items was something completely different from what we had ordered. We would have been okay with it because we completely understand mistakes happen and 3/6 of us at dinner were servers too. But instead of just apologizing and making it right our server argued that we had ordered that and

Food was delicious and nice, cozy dining atmosphere. Very convenient for us while staying at The Village. Other than our waitress not knowing the special (and telling us there wasn't a special of the day when other tables were offered the special by other waitresses), everything was delicious and came out quick. There seemed to be a miscommunication with the staff, but it was resolved and we were able to order the special, which was what we wanted! Hope to visit again!

We stumbled on the spot while looking for lunch after leaving a cafeteria style restaurant near the slopes (cafeteria messed up our wait for the table). Sauce on the Maggie was fantastic! They made our toddler happy with a butter noodle spaghetti. The other three of us had their; meatball, chicken parm, and Italian sandwiches. Which they supposed us how fantastic and well put together they were. Also, the minestrone soup was unreal. We will be back.

We went there tonight. Jan. 2022. We ordered 2 family style Gluten free entrees. The noodles were not cooked. The chef came to or table and put a fork in one of our dishes, tasting the noodles. She said that's how she cooks them. I told her they needed to be cooked longer. Blown away about that. I told my sweet waitress that the food wasn't cooked. She also tasted the noodles, she agreed they were not cooked near long enough. I explained to our waitress that we have had to be gluten free for 12 years. The variety of food was good. Everyone liked what they got. The wine choices were fair but could have been better quality. I got the Pennie's Al vodka basil spaghettini and I thought the basil was strong but my wife did not thinks. The Caesar salad could feed 4 easily.. Do not sit next to the windows because being cold took away from the ambiance. Every thing was ale-cart . The pizza looked very good with big portions. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely the worst food I have ever had! We ordered 4 apps on happy hour, the meatballs were not horrible but The burrata tasted like chemicals I choked down my bite, the rigatoni we couldn't even eat and she didn't charge us for it, the steak tips tasted like cat food.
The bartender however was very sweet and although I didn't have a drink they looked amazing! Maybe just go and drink?
My boyfriends stomach is already in shambles and mine has started to gurgle.

This restaurant is AMAZING! I reached out to their large party/ group planner Jen, who helped arrange for a dinner for my husband and I’s families and close friends after we had a private wedding ceremony at Blue Lake. Jen was super helpful and very easy to get a hold of regarding questions and plans for the dinner.

The food here was so good. We called in for chicken fettuccine and a pepperoni pizza. The bar vendor sold me a discounted bottle of wine to go. The alfredo was the best I've ever had, although they give you enough for about 3 servings, so I had leftovers. The pizza was delicious and looked wood oven baked. I would definitely go here again.

The pizza (Supremo) was the best I have ever tasted. I should point out I have made pizza for a living and cook wood fired pizza at home regularly, the Supremo beat them all. Each topping was treated with respect and the colors so vibrant (see picture).
The penne alla vodka with chicken was delicious, and reheated well too. The family portion is pretty big, enough for at least 4 people in my opinion. It wasn't over sauced like that dish common is.

Delicious food and HUGE portions! (Though I do wish we maybe had smaller portions and bigger plates. It was hard not to keep the sauce from spilling over the sides of our dishes.)
We were lucky enough to sit in the atrium, which has great views of the pond and the mountains.
We had the arancini, chicken parm, and linguini alla pescatore. Each was amazing, but the portions are so big we definitely couldn’t finish!

My boyfriend and I made reservations for 8 o'clock on Saturday night. When we got there, the dining room was pretty full so we sat at a table in the bar area, which was actually quieter. The lighting was very low, which gave the restaurant an intimate vibe. Our waitress was super nice and gave great menu suggestions. The portions were perfect size! We really enjoyed this place!

Service was great. Transportation issues caused us to change our 6 person reservation last minute and they were able to accommodate - on a Saturday night! Cocktail menu was great and the food was top notch. We got a couple apps, two family style pastas, and two specialty pizzas. Great view of the pond/reservoir area

We stopped in for lunch between skiing, and we had a wonderful meal. It was delicious but not so heavy that we were tired to hit the lifts again. My husband said it was one of the best kale salads he's eaten, and I absolutely loved the beef tip soup. We loved our lunch so much that we made reservations and returned for dinner the next day. I'm so glad we did because it was the best meal of our trip to Breckinridge!
It's very close to the base of peak 9, so it's a perfect lunch stop when you want to take a break from the slopes!
