Services
Learning about good oral hygiene begins in childhood. As a leading kids dentist for Coppell, TX patients, Dr. Linda provides gentle dental care for children of all ages. It does not matter how old or young you are. As long as you have at least one tooth, learning proper brushing and flossing techniques is a vital part of life.
Bruxism, often called teeth grinding, can develop in children as young as six years old. Experts are not sure why children and adults grind their teeth but most agree that treating the issue is less pressing in younger patients. Many of the truths of oral hygiene for adults are also true for children.
When your child enters his or her teens, they are introduced to a whole new set of oral health risks. They also become increasingly more concerned with their appearance. This makes dentistry for children just as important as it was earlier in life. As a leading kids dentist for Coppell, TX patients, Linda Steele, DDS can help treat and prevent any staining, decay, or misalignment that might embarrass your child or cause discomfort.
As a leading pediatric dentist in the Coppell, TX area, Dr. Linda is an expert on preventive dentistry for children. Preventive dentistry is a term used to refer to the different steps that you can take to preserve good oral health. It is also the best way to avoid the stressful and expensive dental treatments that are needed to correct gum disease and tooth decay.
Sealants are basically maintenance free. There are, however, a few steps that can be taken to ensure that the teeth remain healthy. Daily brushing and flossing are still necessary. An uneven bite may occur shortly after the application; however, it will soon disappear. Hard or sticky foods such as gum and hard candies should avoided.

We called in advance before entering so there wouldn't be an overflow of patients. We felt safe the second we stepped into the building. A woman (who was wearing a mask that covered her mouth and nose) took our temperature as soon as we entered. We were then escorted to the front where everyone was wearing a mask that covered their mouth and nose. All the technicians/nurses were wearing N95 masks and face shields. They also wore gloves and changed them regularly. I felt safe and would recommend this place to anyone. Overall, I want to thank Dr. Linda Steele amd her staff for providing us with such

We had a previous dental experience elsewhere about a year ago that left myself and my then 15 month old traumatized. I was nervous to take her back to the dentist, but am so glad we found Dr Steele. My sister recommended her and we were not disappointed. The staff were all very patient with my apprehensive 2 year old and worked hard to keep her happy, involved and interested the whole time. While she wasn’t exactly “happy” to be there, she was all smiles and giggles by the time we left.

Beautiful office, super friendly hygienists and staff. My daughter truly loved going to this practice. However, 6 months ago I was told my 4 year old daughter needed to have over 8 cavities filled and we would need to take her to the hospital and have her put under sedation. I was floored because we had just been seen by the dr for a treatment 2 months prior to this. In my mind putting a small child under anesthesia is a big decision. I told Dr. Steele we were cash patients (no insurance) and I would need to discuss it with my husband before moving forward. I felt very pressured and trapped, it

My daughter had her cleaning appointment today. The office was very proactive by calling a few days ahead to go over the new guidelines for coming into the office for the appointment. Overall we are happy and have no concerns with the practice. Dr Steele and her staff are amazing so I’m not surprised they are extremely careful and ready to reopen today.

Dr Linda and Staff are amazing with your children. We have been going to them since my 5 year old was 2. My middle child is very timid. They allowed her to sit with her older sister and watch the cleaning. Then very patiently and kindly cleaned her teeth.
My middle child also chipped her tooth and they were able to see us immediately. Dr Linda very calmly and patiently worked with my child to perform the bonding.
We drive 20+minutes to get to them because we recently moved and will continue to see them. They are wonderful.

My daughter is 21 months and this was her first dentist visit. The staff and Dr. Steele were AMAZING with her. She's normally a very shy toddler, but they made her feel very comfortable. The decor was great and I love the fact that they have video games, a big movie screening room, movie choices for the child as they're getting their teeth cleaned, a toy box, coffee for parents, and more.
Furthermore, both the dentist and techs did a great job of explaining how to take care of her teeth, explaining what the current visit would entail, what future visits would look like, and not being judgmental
