East Bay Animal Hospital is located in Acme, Michigan, just east of Traverse City, Michigan. East Bay Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility caring for your dogs, cats and other family pets such as guinea pigs, pet rats, rabbits and ferrets. We understand that your pet is a member of your family.
East Bay Animal Hospital offers a wide-range of veterinary, preventative care and surginal services. We've provided a partial list below. Our hospital offers an in-house surgical suite for routine and non-routine procedures. Digital radiology (X-ray) allows us to get the best images possible with very little stress for your pet.
Dr. Paige Fowler (DVM) graduated from MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She moved to northern Michigan and married her husband that year as well. We welcomed her to the East Bay Animal Hospital team in 2019. Prior to her time here, she traveled to Belize several times, teaching mixed animal medicine to pre-vet students and helped with spay/neuter clinics while there.

Please bring any previous medical records with you, and if you're coming for a wellness visit and it's been more than six months since your pet was tested for parasites, please bring a stool sample for your first appointment.It is important that the sample be no older than 24 hours. If necessary, you can store it in a container in a refrigerator prior to your visit.

Unless you have no regard for your pet's well being and price is the only factor driving you in your decision of a veterinarian, I'd advise against choosing this one. I will admit the first experience I had here was wonderful. Dr. Reabe was kind.
However every experience after that was a nightmare. I will recap my final experiences for you. I brought both my three year old cat and my new kitten and received a discount for bringing both of them in. $5 off my total price. Over the phone they told me it would be a $90 visit and when I went to pay, the total was $170. Such a leap is unacceptable
