Ponte Vedra Wellness Center was founded in 2004 by Dr. Erika Hamer on the principle of improving every patient's overall health and wellness. Unlike traditional medicine, which often only seeks to resolve symptoms, drug-free holistic care at Ponte Vedra Wellness Center aims to address the underlying causes of body dysfunction.
Our founder, Dr. Erika Hamer, is a graduate of Chiropractic School at Life University in Marietta, GA. Additionally, Dr. Hamer holds a post-graduate designation of Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology, is licensed in Neuro-Electrodiagnostics, certified in Webster technique for pregnancy chiropractic, holds AFAA certification as a fitness trainer, and is currently pursuing certification in chiropractic pediatrics.

Arriving at a doctors office for the first time can be a nerve racking experience. Paperwork to fill out, new faces and names to learn, and getting to know your way around the office; this can hit the senses all the at same time causing overload. In contrast, at Ponte Vedra Wellness Center our aim is to remove any stress, causing unnecessarily tension, and make you feel comfortable.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem.

Do not go to a Chiropractor if you are in real pain. Go to a real doctor, I came here because I had neck pain from a car accident and I am positive that due to the treatement I am in worst pain now. DO NOT allow them make you do treatments that you are not comfortable with or feel like it will make the pain worst. Trust your own intuition because I didn't and I am in so much pain that I have to use my standing desk all day due to the pain I am in right now.

Very welcoming staff, offered me a cold drink while I filled out the obligatory paperwork. Saw Dr.Hamer who took X-rays, was easy to talk to and explained what was going on in my neck and what course of action would be best for me. She brought me immediate relief from my neck pain by a simple tweak here and there and an adjustment to my back. What a relief it is to be able to turn my head without the pain.

Love Dr. Hamer and staff! Dr Hamer has been treating me since about 25 weeks pregnant! I had the worst pain and she really knew what she was doing to relieve it for me. I am currently 5 months PP and my baby and I are still currently seeing Dr. Hamer office weekly for adjustments. We also have dad coming to get adjusted as well. The team is so very personable and kind. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and feeling better!
