Welcome to the new patient center for Alterman & Johnson Family Chiropractors and Blooming Bellies. We have provided gentle chiropractic care in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach for almost 30 years. Our focus is family care including pregnancy chiropractic, we also provide chiropractic adjustments for infants, toddlers and children of all ages, as well as adults.

I absolutely love Dr.s Alterman and Johnson. I have been fortunate to have had chiropactic adjustments from them both. They are wonderful and truly care about their patients. When my son was dealing with severe asthma, Dr. Alterman adjusted him on a regular basis, and his asthma would always get better within 24 hours. She also adjusted me during my pregnancy and during my labor to help makes sure my body was in alignment for birth. As a birth doula and childbirth educator, I always recommend them to the moms that I work with.

While pregnant with my second child a few years ago, I got regular weekly adjustments from Dr. Alterman. At one point I suffered excruciating sciatica pain that paralyzed me. No pain medication or medical treatment made it go away, but immediately after a quick adjustment, the pain left and did not come back again. Right before going to the hospital on my delivery day I went for my final pregnancy adjustment and had a smooth and quick delivery a couple of hours later. After I got out of the hospital with my newborn, I was accommodated for a post-pregnancy adjustment along with my baby's first ever

My friend recommended blooming bellies and I started getting my adjustments done when I was pregnant, definitely I found a huge difference, I had good sleep and didn’t feel my usual back pain. I am continuing this after my delivery and my back pain after C section is improving. They provide flexible timing options as well. Dr. A is very friendly and gives lots of tips for your posture and back issues.

Everyone is very friendly. Definitely recommend coming here if you are having issues with your back or anything. I also love that they are a family chiropractor .Dr. Alterman has been correcting my back for a couple months now and i am so much better than when i started. Its a plus that she is more for all natural.
