Our Self-defense classes are designed for women and teens. We teach techniques designed to work regardless of your size. This is a serious subject and this class will teach you practical strategies in a supportive and friendly environment. Call for times and dates of future classes. Services
When the people of San Jose come to Almaden Taekwondo to learn martial arts, they don't just receive training, but a staff that is dedicated to helping them improve themselves. Almaden Taekwondo is family owned and operated. While we are located in the heart of Almaden Valley, we have students from Los Gatos, San Jose, Campbell and Saratoga.
We don't like to admit it but there are some streets in San Jose that we would rather not walk down alone at night. Usually, the thing to do is just avoid these places, but sometimes trouble comes to you. When it does, it is best to be prepared. Almaden Taekwondo is here to give the people of San Jose the tools they need to protect themselves when they need to.
Adults are different than your average marital arts student. We have a different mindset and life experience on our side as well as jobs, kids, and maybe even a mortgage. Almaden Taekwondo offers an adult class that can help you to get in shape, relieve stress, improve awareness, learn a new skill and ultimately lead to an increase in confidence.
If you are looking to try out martial arts, Almaden Taekwondo wants to work with you. Our center is home to martial art masters who enjoy sharing their passions with adults, children, and youth. At Almaden Taekwondo your training continues after achieving your first black belt. Our black belts continue to learn and practice precision in their movements, advanced self-defense/weapons and train to achieve their 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree black belt and beyond. We strive to provide a friendly, accepting and encouraging environment for training while still providing quality instruction.

My 10yo daughter takes classes at Almaden TKD and loves this studio. She has learned so much about martial arts training and also about working patiently towards improving and achieving goals. Master Julie and all the instructors are really great with kids and have a lot of patience with them - they always try to keep things fun. We also appreciate the flexible schedule and the great location!

You won't find a better Taekwondo studio! My wife and I were looking for months for the perfect studio for our children and we finally found it! The studio is a family owned business where the entire family participates in it. The instructors are firm but yet they make it fun for our children. Classes are flexible for busy families. They understand the hectic lives that many families have.
My favorite regular event is Parents night out! That's when we drop off our kids and they play games, watch a movie and enjoy pizza and deserts while my wife and I enjoy a few hours together. My children

I have been with Master Julie and Master Nathan for almost 6 years now. I must say, it 's been a real pleasure being a part of this program. I signed my son up for martial arts and joined myself instead of just watching on the sidelines. I've even continued when my son quit. It's an activity I am physically able to participate in, as well as learning new skills. This studio understands patience and limitations of the individual, as well as pushing to do better and achieving goals. Great, clean, bright, and airy studio. The instructors are great and the students really thrive!
