We are committed to helping you create a service that represents your special needs, customs, and traditions.
This program was created in honor of Nancy & Edward Keszei, twin siblings to our owner & funeral director, Frank L. Keszei. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel will donate all services to the parents who suffer such a tragic loss of their stillborn/newly born daughter or son.
Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel believes families shouldn't have to pay more for the very best funeral services. We provide La Porte and surrounding communities with our brand of compassionate care and quality at a fair price. With our Traditional Funeral Value Option, families that use us can save hundreds, or even thousands of dollars as compared to our competition.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

We were very pleased with the services provided by Frank Keszei and his staff at the Essling Funeral Home. The family came from Colorado and were impressed with their handling of the logistics considering the calendar changes, bad weather and road conditions, etc. This was our second family funeral using Frank's services, and we highly recommend him. Very compassionate and kind in every detail.

Frank and his team were so helpful and kind in guiding us through the viewing and burial of remains of our beloved mother. People commented to me on the caring, professional, yet friendly way they were. He was prompt in getting copies of the death certificate and other details which were a tremendous relief and help to me.

Frank and his staff are very caring, go above and beyond the expectation and make the arrangements very personal to the families needs. We lost our daughter and Frank did a great job with all of her arrangements, even delivering the flowers to our home.
We appreciate everything Frank and his staff did for us and our family during this very difficult time.

I attended a funeral recently of friend who died from slipping and falling in the bathtub. He had a knot on the back of his head and that is it. Not that you would know it from looking at him at his wake, though, because they did the worst job on a body that I have ever seen. I could literally see superglue crusted on his skewed lips, his hands hovered over his torso in an uncompleted folding position and his fingers had black dust under his nails. There was more that other people noticed but I could not look at him for that long. It was too painful to see him look as though he had been reconstructed
