The Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center has been serving LaPorte and surrounding areas since 1896. As such, the funeral home has ties with much of the past history of the community. This inheritance of community involvement continues through four generations of the Cutler family. It has been our privilege to serve the families of LaPorte and surrounding communities for years.

Dale and his staff were wonderful. Dale is caring, compassionate, and genuine. He walked us through the whole process and gave us time to think. He went way above and beyond helping us through this. He explained everything in depth. He would pause and ask if we had questions. We did not because he explained it so well. He made all of our guests feel comfortable. I am happy we chose Cutler’s. I would highly recommend Cutler’s. Thank you Dale and staff for being so kind, compassionate, and helpful during this time.

Recently we had 3 deaths in 2 years. Cutlers, especially Rob, was exceptionally helpful and caring. When the local church would not communicate with us Rob stepped up to the plate. He did everything the church should have done. I would highly recommend Cutlers to anyone needing their services. Thanks Rob!

We need a headstone for my step-father who was buried in Michigan City but we live in Florida. We worked with funeral director Dale Knouse to design, order and install the headstone. In the process we found out two other family members had problems with their headstones sinking over time. Cutler arranged to have the headstone lifted and stabilized.… The other was over one hundred years old and had cracked in half. Dale again assisted us to replace the headstone with a new one. Cutler took excellent care of us every step of the process. Updating us with photos and timelines. I can't tell

First, I am so sorry that I haven't posted a review sooner. I lost my mother Retha a little over 2 years ago and just now feel able to write a review. This was the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life. However, God knew what funeral home to send our way. Our family has used Cutlers through out all of our hardships. When I couldn't even breathe from crying Dale and team were able to piece together what we wanted for my mother. They prayed with us. All I had to do was send the music I needed played at her service at our church. When her ashes were ready. They even gave us time in a private

The passing of my husband was something we were not expecting and when it came to choosing a place to handle his arrangements, there was only one that I knew would be caring and compassionate...Cutler Funeral Home!! I can not thank Rob, Dale, and the other staff at Cutler Funeral Home enough for everything they have done for my family over the years. They go above and beyond to make sure your loved one is taken care of and their service is perfect. I will never forget their compassion and sympathy when my papaw and my granddaughters passed. I can't say enough about how caring and helpful the Cutler staff is. I live out of state and had to handle arrangements and details long distance. Rob, Dale, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make it feel seemless. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area needing services.

I buried both of my parents with Cutler's amazing services. Dale and Tonya are living examples of benevolence and compassion. Cutler and all the staff are simply amazing! They care about families and the ones who have passed on... I don't know what I would have done without Rob and the staff when I lost my 9 month old daughter... I couldn't hardly think, let alone plan her funeral. We also just lost my Mother in June, and again Cutler came in and did yet another amazing job helping to put her to rest easy. I reccomend them to everyone I know and I personally will be making sure my arrangements are done here as well.
