I just switched over here after leaving my previous beloved dentist when a corporate entity took them over and I was very impressed. The hygienist, Lisa, was very nice and made me feel really comfortable and she did a great job with my cleaning considering I have a bad gag reflex (I didn’t gag at all) and she found 4 cavities that my previous corporate dentist never told me about and I go every 3 months, so clearly something sketchy was going on there. She and Dr. Shahab actually took a few quick pics of the cavities for my file and showed them to me and explained them and I could clearly see

Horrible customer service to say the least....
Last week filled out an inquiry on their website for service. I never received a phone call or email. Today decided to give them a call and was told that they did get my inquiry, and that they do take my insurance Blue Cross Blue Shield. However since in my inquiry I mentioned that I was injured at work (lost a rear tooth), and I am having my employers insurance company pay for the replacement, that they will not see me.
I was told that it "gets messy" with work related injuries. Seems very fishy to me, as they are probably charging far

This office is wonderful. The staff are friendly. Good communicators. Dr. Shahab & hygienists pay close attention to my comfort at every visit. I find them to be pleasantly perfectionistic with my care. Always very patient with my frequent questions. Also, they play the best music which takes my mind off of whatever procedure is being done!

Venus Dental is an outstanding dental practice. They use the latest technology, and more importantly know how to use it. Everyone who works there are kind, personable and work diligently to make your experience the best it can be. Like many, a trip to the dentist can be worrisome, but not with this team. Dr. Shabab is simply wonderful! I have several family members who have followed my lead and go there now, along with their kids. Positive feedback from all.

The staff was friendly and kind and the office was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to watch to tv while someone worked on your teeth.
Cons;
I felt like they gave me a list of things that needed to be done and focused on the cosmetic procedures versus the reason why I was there.
It was expensive and I felt as though they were trying to drain the money I am allotted each year rather than focus on the tooth pain I was experiencing. They said the pain was from another tooth close by, but even when they "fixed" that one I still had pain.

My favorite dental office ever, and I am old so I've been to a lot. I'm a regular patient at Venus. Everyone there is very professional, but also knowledgeable, pleasant, and personal -- not just with patients, but with each other. The office is lovely and comfortable. Good vibes are everywhere!
Dr. Shahab knows her stuff, offers options, answers every question in detail. She is gentle and understanding of what your pain and discomfort might be. She gives a kickass novacaine injection! LOL but true.

Not a fan of this place. I've had good teeth my whole life, until I switched to this office. Every time I went in they found a cavity. I didn't think much of it at first but after several visits with the same result I started to get suspicious. I dreaded going. I got the feeling they were hunting for any tiny soft spot on my tooth that they could drill. I'd imagine that routine cleanings aren't very profitable, but fillings are, and it's seems to be pretty subjective what warrants a filling or not.

The office is always clean, organized and everyone is friendly. Dr. Shahab is very professional and she explains in details all procedures that the patient needs. All equipments are latest technology and there are TVs equipped in every exam room for the patient to watch while Dr. Shahab takes care of their teeth.

Dr. Shahab is the best in dentistry. She is kind, caring, and more importantly knows what she is doing. She is very gentle and light with her hands to the point I actually fell asleep once I was getting work done. Her staff are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. They have the best coffee machine and I also enjoy watching TV as she is working on my teeth. Dr. Shahab has given me my smile back, the smile I didn't think I could afford. Her fees are very reasonable, and affordable for all incomes. She is very caring, compassionate

I would recommend Dr Shahab and her team because of their professionalism . For most cleanings I rarely see a dentist afterwards and Dr Shahab spent more time with me than any other dentist that I have been . She explained the process of my crown and root canal and made it a much less stressful experience. Also her staff was great by calling to confirm my appointments and also accommodated me if there were cancellations , so I did not have to wait for a few weeks to get on her calendar. Lastly , she is passionate about her profession and very pleasant and friendly !

Convenient location, High tech office and welcoming staff. Dr. Shahab was gentle and informative. The best part is that they do permanent crowns in ONE VISIT (Thanks to CEREC machine at Venus Dental). I had my crown placed in the past somewhere else where I had to visit their office multiple times (for temporary crown and then for permanent crown) which was very time consuming... I highly recommend Dr. Shahab and Venus Dental.

I have been going to Venus Dental since it was Maynard Dental Associates. The staff here, especially Steffani are super helpful and professional. Whether it's a routine cleaning or oral surgery, I always feel like I am in capable, caring hands. I really enjoy Dr. Shahab as she will explain everything to you in laymen's terms and she has been great compared to my last dentist. I also love that the staff are not pushy. I would highly recommend Venus Dental to anyone looking for a great dentist with a wonderful staff.

My daughter and I have been going to Venus Dental for just over a year. She is 8 years old and a clingy girl. She feels so at ease here that she asked to go in to she the dentist alone. Dr. Shahab is wonderfully talented and fixed a cavity I had today quickly and painlessly. I think she may be the best dentist I have found, and I've lived in three countries. I can not say enough about staff, they make you feel at home, like you are family. Appointment are easy to book and most importantly, the dental chairs are comfortable.
