Services
I grew up in a culinary family. My dad was a head chef for over 30 years. After I graduated from high school in Hong Kong, I started to work with him and learned my cooking skills from him. He always encouraged me to get new ideas from chefs who worked with different food preparation techniques and to learn from cookbooks.

First time I've been here... and I got take out with an hour drive home. Not the orange chicken we are used to in Oregon, it's different but tasty. My issue was asking twice if the chow mein had bean sprouts (because although I always get it, I always forget the name) I was told twice... yes, it has bean sprouts... no, it didn't.

I love China Delight. The food looked bright and fresh. It tasted just as good as it looked. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have sesame balls. A round, rice flour based ball with bean paste inside. Slightly sweet. I've not seen them on many menus. YUM. YUM. Also, they were so accommodating to my gluten intolerant friend. They see her often and were SO GOOD to her. A must go to eat place.

We’re not picky but really didn’t like this. We got general tsos and orange chicken. They put it all in the same container and it looked and tasted exactly the same. Both were in a dark black sauce that tasted like salt and burnt garlic. The fried rice is just rice mixed with soy sauce. Overall completely lacked flavor.

I have been eating at this place (usually in the bar) for almost 15 years. The menu is good and the prices are great. On the last trip in we had the best bartender I have experienced in a very long time. I wish I got his name but his service was awesome. I tipped him well! I will continue to eat and drink here for many years to come!

This is my favorite bar in Corvallis. The food is amazing as well. It's all around a good place to eat and go out on the town for a few drinks with friends. The owners are super great people. On the bar side I've always thought the staff was very professional and know how to deal with the customers in a positive way. The owners just hire great staff. China Delight is a delight and my favorite place in Corvallis. They have many regular and return customers. I am a regular there. I know where to go for a great dining and social experience as well. Much recommended, very good people.

My wife had a 3-item combination plate, with Sweet & Sour Pork, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimp, fried rice and Egg Flower Soup; and a glass of tea. She said the Egg Flower Soup was great, but the sauce for the Sweet & Sour Pork had an odd taste and her glass of tea smelled kind of fishy. I got a 3-item combination plate, with General Tsao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Shrimp, Hot & Sour Soup and pan-fried noodles; and a TsingTao beer. I've been going to China Delight as far back as I can remember. The servings are good sized, and generally pretty tasty if you like sweeter Chinese styles of food. Personal favorites are the foil chicken appetizer, the general tso's chicken, and the sesame chicken combo. The wonton is also pretty good.
