Still a current fave in our rotation of most frequented restaurants. This is a place that goes above and beyond in quality of food and service. Very much love that they require proof of vaccination. My fave is their eggplant parmigiana. We’ve tried almost every item of their menu and it’s never a disappointment.

They are overly priced and they ask If you’re vaccinated but do not ask to check the actual card. Also the one tall lady is very disrespectful. She was no help and also kicked us out for “ being to loud” yet everyone’s conversation was being heard. I told her I was not satisfied with the fish yet she still charged me . Her customer service is terrible and needs to be fired.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would, They have the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. They are rude and no not just one employee but there are at least 5 employees that need to work on how to treat others. The respect in this location is very poor. The manager is a reflection of them as well. Just terrible all the way around. Sad because the place has great food. Just not the greatest customer service!! The cooks are also not wearing mask in a pandemic yet require vaccines ? So weird

I'm so glad I've rediscovered La Strada. My dad used to take me here when I was in my 20s that was 30 years ago. I stopped by here this week for lunch and I started to leave because they said their patio was closed due to some storm damage. I was bummed because I was really really hungry! Then the host said well let's go check it out and see what you think and I said I have no issue with whatever it looks like I just want to eat outside.I was trying to stay away from omicron. So I got to stay and I ordered the egg plant Parmesan and it did not disappoint! I never eat my whole plate

I came for a bday party being held in the vineyard room. My husband and I stood by the reception desk for entirely too long. After checking and responding to several emails, I decided to go up to one of the staff who had been ignoring us a few feet away and ask them to point us in the direction of the vineyard room. She was rude and unpleasant and continued to give me weird looks the entire night.
Then I went to the back bar and came into contact with the most unprofessional, rude, disrespectful bartender I've ever seen. He was rude to the people at the bar, he was slow and very proud of his horrendous

We stopped here Saturday 10/9/21 on a late evening after returning from a drive up the coast it was either barbecue or Italian.... glad we chose here, we got impeccable service even with the restaurant closing in an hour! Our service was on point from the time we entered and the hostess seated us until we left the building with happy, satisfied tummies!!! My eggplant Parmigiana was amazing and my family enjoyed their shrimp/chicken fettuccine respectively; the Caesar salad was the best I've had in a while so I'm gonna go with the salad dressing has to be made from scratch yummy and don

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for the past couple couple years. We have enjoyed all the dishes we've ordered.
Tonight not so much. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I could only eat half. Way too much garlic! Instead of enjoying a blend of flavors it was garlic forward. It had a strange flavor too that I couldn't identify. I couldn't taste the tomato flavor at all.
My husband ordered lasagna. He couldn't identify what was off but he also stopped eating his meal halfway through. He is keeping his and hoping it will taste better tomorrow but I am

Sunday, our party of 10, enjoyed a birthday dinner for our 95 year old family member. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. Only a half of our group had ever eaten at LaStrada's, it was a real treat for everyone. The food was delicious! We were able to visit and actually be heard without load background music. It's not easy to find a restaurant like this. Thank you LaStrada's for making this day special.

There's nothing better than celebrating an anniversary and at La Strada, which is an old school traditional Italian restaurant in San Pablo, they really knows how to celebrate their silver anniversary by bringing back the prices of certain dishes on their menu for the same price they sold them back when they opened in the Adobe Plaza back in 1996. It's a genius idea really, and something they have done before in other years celebrating their birthday and with them celebrating their 25th birthday, this year felt extra special. First time at La strada and most definitely not the last! Arrived at 8pm on a Saturday with no reservation my husband and i were seated right away. Great food fine Italian ambiance as good as it gets in San Pablo, table was wobbly but my husband made a quick fix & placed a few packets of sugar under the table lol. I originally ordered the shrimp scampi but after giving it thought after our server placed our order i kindly asked him to change my order to the rack of lamb. *People in our group were waiting longer than others for their food. So it was a sitting duck situation for one person in our party.
*Someone gave specific instructions for how they wanted their food, which they didn't receive the way they needed. (They have health issues not allergies, which they didn't specifically need to tell the waiter)
*And everyone felt like the food was ok.
This review is solely based off our experience, if you live in Richmond or in the area definitely

This is one of my favorite places. Their creamy polenta can't be beat. I even pick it up for cold winter nights. Service is quick and friendly. I am never disappointed and I have tried just about everything on the menu. I've also tried their other location in American Canyon, equally yummy. We also got excellent to-go service during COVID, gotta appreciate a place that can pivot.

My in laws used to love this place and we all went often. We used to come to this location when we lived closer. Later we started going to the one located in American Canyon and kind of forgot about this one. Well, we were coming home traveling on Hwy 80 and I thought let me see if The original La Strada is still there! I was so happy to see that it was!
I got the eggplant Parmigiana. It was delicious and fresh. It came with polenta, house salad and vegetables. All cooked / seasoned nicely! We split their tiramisu which is made fresh daily. Service was great! The atmosphere is friendly

I really miss La Strada. I've moved across the country now, but their calamari steak is the best I've ever had, and I could LIVE off their polenta. I don't know what they do to make that polenta so delicious and creamy, but it is amazing. And the vegetables! I HATE carrots, but I loved these. This is really good Italian good, folks. Get the calamari steak. It's amazing.

The service and politeness of the servers and wait staff is wonderful.
I usually come here with my former boss and a coworker. We stay for a LONG time. They always come by and fill our water glasses and offer more drinks. We NEVER feel rushed and that makes our visits very enjoyable.

POLENTA- omg. Creamy, flavorful, buttery, delicious. Honestly, it goes with everything. If you like polenta- get this. You will not be disappointed. Also, would make a great vegetarian

I ordered the fettucine alfredo with chicken and the salmon with lemon dill light cream for pickup. When I called to place my order I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I'm thinking, "sweet! I'm super hungry". Well it was ready in 15 minutes, but it was not sweet, sure the food was edible but it was not flavorful. Is this supposed to be authentic Italian food? According to their website, yes this is supposed to be authentic.

Paid $34.47 on Uber east for spaghetti & meatballs (extra sauce) & garlic bread
1. the 3 meatballs were huge but lacked flavor and the texture was off - it reminded me of vegan / fake meat which is off putting
2. The spaghetti order was pretty large but lacked the extra sauce I requested so the majority of my plate was dry spaghetti with thin/weak sauce .
3. The order. Comes with mounds of French bread so ordering garlic bread for an extra $$ is a waste. Especially since there's nothing special about it. Same French bread as the free version just (messily) slathered with butter

I placed a pickup order for a few of their anniversary specials, the woman that took the phone order had okay phone etiquette but the blonde man that was greeting guests/bringing out orders had amazing customer service. The meals are tasty and include a side of delicious polenta and mixed veggies. Only recommendation is to order your garlic bread lightly cooked, ours was too hard. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan, veal marsala and salsiccia peperonata. Everyone enjoyed their food!
