Catherine began her training in Madison Wisconsin at Scientific School of Beauty in 1979. Although her first attempt in the hair industry was at age four when she gave her Chatty Cathy doll a very short new look. Wondering why her doll's hair never grew back, she later set her sights onto understanding the science of hair.
Although her first attempt in the hair industry was at age four, it was the first of many exciting challenges. It is Catherine's goal to determine what style will work best based on the clients hair type, lifestyle, budget and how much time they want to dedicate towards maintaining the look. When she's not behind the chair, she enjoys volunteering and life at home with her wife Sue and their 2 cats.

I will only have Catherine work on my hair. My husband raves about the look I come home with. He too insists that I only see Catherine for hair care. My hair was severely damaged. After just a few cuts by Catherine my hair is lush and silky again. The color is always perfect! I always walk out feeling beautiful by her hair design. SHE KNOWS HAIR and how to work with it!
