Continuously horrible service. Every. Single. Time.
The tables are self serve, but even still the two "bartenders" are extremely rude EVERY time you go in. No matter what night of the week or time of day, they act like you're doing them a disservice by entering the establishment. When asked what time they close they told us 11-12 & online says they close at 11. Yet they still let us know they were about to do last call at 9:45, then said they were "done" at 10. They allowed us to order food before 9:45, knowing their chef had apparently gone home, so our food wasn't delivered until nearly 10:30

Boy oh boy, what happened to this place?
I visited this watering hole several years ago and it was like walking into a tavern plucked straight from The Tempest, i half expected Puck to plop down on the bar stool next to me and recite me a ballad.

Today, I walked in and the vibe had totally white washed corporate. It was over lit, the seating was uncomfortable, and in the back there was no music being pumped in creating an awkward ambiance for the patrons. Then there's the pricing, decent beer at a decent price even some of the food is priced well but their liquor is so heavily up charged

Cozy tiny and cool spot.
We went there right before their last call for just one drink.
Cool decor, many letters stick inside the brick wall. Some of them are nice, some are just drunk...
Servers are nice and friendly. We got beer and a cup of spiked chai.
We love to come back again for their food.

I was really excited about this place read the reviews but we all know people have different experiences. Walked in it wasn’t busy but instead of being greeted we were met with judgmental stares from behind the bar. Let it go began looking at the menu for a drink l. At a almost completely empty bar they barely spoke a to word us. Once the guest who were standing there before us received drinks left still nothing. THEN people who assume I the lady bartender knew came up she greeted them and they had a drink in their hands very quickly. Wonder why ? I have a good guess. Being someone who actively

Weird way to start a review but these mustard mashed peas are that good.

Shepard's pie us in point, beef not lamb but the cut they used maintains some richness the dish needs.

Not a lot of tap selections but everything on there is high quality. I'm a bit of a beer snob and it was a difficult choice.

Speaking of.... They have like a hundred bourbons, not exaggerating, maybe 150. Papi will be dessert.

Very friendly staff.

Don't sleep on the outside creek side seating. It's adorable back here.

They should change the name cus this isn't oberons anymore.

It's like lumberjack fairy godmother's or something.

Food is meh, drinks are pricey, ambiance in the front half is cool but falls off as you walk further into the place.

It makes me sad to walk in here...

Oberon’s was the first place we visited in Ashland and it did not disappoint. The garlicky shepherds pie was unconventional and was made with beef, but it was good. The polish dog was one of the best.

Had a damn good time at Oberon's. Very nice bar staff, a killer selection of spirits (full EH Taylor horizontal, Blanton's, Elmer, etc.) great cocktails (the Negroni riff was killer) and a variety of local drafts. Food was also on point - the Shepherd's pie was a feast. The peas that came on the side were the best peas I've ever had in my life - like, not hyperbole, actually the best ever. I accosted the kitchen staff to get the recipe. Everything else was great, but I am obsessed with dem peas.

Excellent cocktails, great ambience and delicious food- everything I need for a great evening. I just had a delicious Mule, although they were out of my first choice- The Rose Mule. The Lavender Mule was refreshing but I couldn't taste any lavender. The Lavender Lemon Drop is better for tasting that flavor. We also had the Bacon Flatbread which is amazingly loaded and very good. We've enjoyed the Sausage Platter in the past. Service is okay , not very quick but everyone is friendly and kind.

Absolutely loved the decor. Such a beautifully crafted restaurant & bar. Try the tobacco tea!! Great mule menu (went with a dark & stormy but they have so many others). The Shepard's Pie was ok but the sausage platter was good. Would come back for drinks & a light snack. Whoever designed this place is genius.

Having scouted things out on Google Maps beforehand, Oberon's was first among my list of places I wanted to visit upon arriving in Ashland, and thus it was our first stop after checking in to our hotel and dropping off our luggage. Everything about its interior aesthetic was what I wanted to see in this Shakespearean-influenced town, and their healthy selection of various Old Fashioneds had furthered my interest in patronizing this pub.
Thus, on our midsummer afternoon's visit, we were greeted warmly upon entry, told to grab any available table, and order at the bar when we were ready. We did

I have wanted to come check out this little bar for a while. As a person who works the late shift, I like that they keep later hours when most of the places in the area close early. We stopped in a few weeks ago and were lucky to get a table on an evening that all other restaurants were full. The bartenders are real bartenders! I ordered the Really Good Old Fashioned and honestly can't remember what my partner ordered - just know that he loved it. The decor is warm and eclectic while keeping in the theme of Shakespeare's play.

We both ordered the honey bacon apple grilled cheese and

They have amazing cocktails! Seriously, these are high quality and well crafted. The food is okay and you are safe with the sausages which are pretty good. I wish we lived closer. Respect to the bar program.

Absolutely incredible! We're passing through Ashland, staying at a cute little hotel.
This place is within walking distance and is right by the creek! Indoor seating with great decor, outdoor seating on a patio or down closer to the creek.
Perfectly balanced cocktails. We got the lavender mule, razberry mule and lavender drop. They make their own simple syrups and our waitress explained a bit more on how they do that (just upgraded my simple syrup game for home ty)!!
Our waitress was super sweet and fun! Loved her and her dope nails.
Food was delicious, I got the the shepherds pie, Ma got

We really enjoyed our experience here! The service was friendly and fast, and the food was delicious! I ordered tea, which used fresh herbs and included a shot of honey, slightly watered down for easy pouring. We ordered the tomato basil bisque to share, which may be the best I've ever had. My wife got the beef stew and said it was excellent. I ordered the Shepherd's pie which was also amazing. When in Ashland, go here!

I've been coming to Ashland for years - decades really, but I haven't ever been to Oberon's. There was lovely live Celtic music in the front, but we were seated in the back in front of a lovely fireplace. When we first sat down, it was great to see a group of people playing Dungeons and Dragons. This to me speaks volumes about the comfortable nature of Oberon's. Lots of downtown Ashland is very touristy but the fact that this group felt like this was a good spot, made me happy. We got just the right amount of attention from our server (not lurking but not ignored). We

Came for drinks on a Saturday date-night. I love this place. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch punch. We both loved it. My wife has the Oregon Flannel. I like sweet foo foo drinks so I didn't care for it but she liked it. We ordered the sausage platter as a late night snack and it was perfect. A couple of choices of sausage and a couple of choices of mustard. Very yummy.

Every foot forward needs to be strong

We came in for dessert and drinks. We were actually pretty impressed with the drink. Good Moscow mule type thing.

However dessert missteps were just not excusable. We got all three desserts. The toffee pudding was the best. I don't know what the "frosting" was but there was an element of it I didn't care for. My wife's is much better.

The molten lava cake was the opposite of molten. The inside was actually cold frozen. Maybe this is a poetic irony type thing?

Apple crisp. Cold inside with raw apples and freezer burned ice cream

Charming and inviting. This place was really nice. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the french dip. They were both wonderful! The ingredients were top notch, fresh and the bread was very soft. The dressing was great and the portions were just right. The waiter was super friendly and had a great recommendation for which beer to try. I enjoyed the atmosphere and fun jazzy, Cajun style music they were playing. I would definitely come here again!
