A marriage may be dissolved by dissolution, legal separation, or by nullity (invalid marriage). In Dissolution and Legal Separation Proceedings, the court rules on the rights and financial responsibilities of the parties. Going through a divorce and being a stay at home mom has been one of the absolute most difficult times of my life. Not knowing what will come. Will I lose my house? How will I afford a lawyer? Run! Run like the wind. Eric Rice is a hack. He doesn't know or understand family law, and likely the only reason he has a job is his mommy hired him. He will sell you a passel of lies to get your business and then drag things out to take more of your money. Unethical. Late for court. The other side will win and you will be left with an enormous legal bill. Run!!

Just finalized my divorce of 13 years (including spousal/child support/visitation/401k/etc). Eric Rice guided me through every step. Nobody says getting a divorce is easy, and we put our trust in someone to help. In general, attorneys tend to get a bad rap and finding a good one is a daunting process. Sad to say that this is my second (and final) divorce. My first divorce many years ago was a horrible experience with that attorney, which made me very leary on who to choose, so I interviewed several attorneys.

I agree with Roger L. I worked with Eric Rice for my divorce and he was disorganized, sloppy and seemed unsure of what he was doing much of the time. I was married for 30 years, and have never worked with a divorce attorney before. I trusted Eric and his firm to protect me and my interests. I am finding out now that he left critical information out of my divorce decree which is making it difficult for me to force my ex to pay the debt that is listed as his responsibility. Eric listed the creditors, but no amounts or dates as to when the debt needed to be paid by. Also, the firm sent me a letter

I cant go based on other customer experiences, however, based on my case, I was referred to Debra by a friend, and could not have been more satisfied. Her team was understanding, sympathetic and gave great direction. I didn't have to call off work to attend court hearings and her follow up was great. I was very happy with the outcome and Debra was always available by cell to answer all of my questions and concerns. I will definitely refer her to people that inquire about attorney assistance. Debra and Eric did an EXCELLENT job in regards to my visitation modification case. My child's father was trying to take all weekends from me and all summer. Not only did Eric win my case for me, he also got no mediation and the judge wrote orders right then and there. I got the exact scenario I was hoping for. I appreciate this law office so much! Unorganized, inexperienced staff. Particularly her Son, Eric. Your worst nightmare if you want a quick, easy, smooth, and most of all, affordable divorce. Be prepared to be embarrassed in front of your ex when your attorney consistently is a no show in court and they seem to be learning the law as your case moves along like it's the first time they've seen a courtroom. Then prepare to be lied to. As you can see from the [four] fake 5-star reviews that Yelp removed that were written by Eric and Debra themselves. They were pretending to be clients that were cleared from Felony DUI charges
