I switched to Maxine after my previous attorney made an egregious oversight with the first written agreement, leading to unexpected delays, costs and undue stress. Maxine is very knowledgeable about the family law and wrote a solid settlement agreement for my divorce after the disappointing error from the previous attorney. Finding a knowledgeable attorney is a very difficult task, as there are many incompetent attorneys. It's never easy to go through a divorce, but Maxine gave me good sound advice. She doesn't have a scorched earth policy, because ultimately the law is the law and she will get you what you are entitled to. Her office is responsive and are happy to help you understand some legal procedures should the need arise. I would definitely recommend her and her office to a family member or friend.

Hired Maxine for a divorce lawyer at a "discounted rate" of $325. She started back in September 2020 until August 2021 when she withdrew from my case total fees where about $40K paid out to her.
I am very displeased with her services. I paid for fees that she doesn’t deserve as she made me lose out on 30K for her incompetence and carelessness. I had my prenup done at Maxine Law office. It is true that Maxine Ho practice as a caring, compassionate and professional attorney. I would say she advocates for me very well. I don't really know about family law much, and Maxine took her time to explain and to clarify some things I do not understand. I retained Maxine for a divorce and also for a restraining order. I was married for a long time with 3 children. My husband retained his own counsel and has been trying to postpone the restraining order since he claimed a criminal case may be filed. We went to court and it got continued the first time and then the second time, his attorney made the same argument about pending criminal charges.
