I asked the DJ one question. Why is the price a little high?
I get why one could get offended. But as a customer, i am and should be allowed to ask this type of question and follow up with services that are provided for such price.
So, i ask. In a very respecrful and sincere way. He went on a rant.. got offended. And. Eventually said he will not do my wedding.
Buyers Beware.. you dont want a DJ who gets mad over one question. BUYERS BEWARE

Hiring Steve was the absolutely perfect decision for our wedding. During every part of the process he was professional, prompt, and friendly. He listened to our music requests and worked diligently to create the perfect playlist for our wedding. Our guests loved the music! Steve is the BEST of the BEST! His experience working as a DJ/ MC/ Host is so very evident. His approach is completely encompassing, and he has thought of every possible detail that you could imagine. The fact that we had guests compliment how great he was speaks volumes. I didn't realize that our guests would really take note of his efforts, but they did. My husband and I already knew how great he was, but for guests to acknowledge it really was something extra. Steve is hands down the best DJ in San Diego! He did our wedding back in August and had people on the dance floor the entire time. I still have people commenting on how amazing the DJ/MC was. Professional, kind, and very organized, Steve did a great job for our wedding at the Cuvier Club! He was responsive whenever we had any questions and helped make our night memorable! The prelude music was classy, the dinner music was fun, and the dance floor always had people dancing! Also, he made our anniversary dance very special by acknowledging my parents' and my husband's parents' anniversaries. Also, he was a tactful MC--never overbearing or intrusive. Very glad we chose Steve. He was easy to work with, managed to adjust on the fly as things changed (we didn't expect). Very professional and experienced - he had a lot of ideas that helped us. He was supportive to the other vendors.
He helped me with special music I had recorded and had a great music selection and was able to find some pretty obscure recordings as well.

Do yourself a big favor and hire Steve as your wedding DJ! He was my favorite vendor out of all the people I hired for my wedding. I was determined to find a professional DJ who could handle hosting my reception and make sure the event flowed smoothly. I never had a worry with him. He also set up the sound system for our outdoor ceremony using wireless microphones since I did not want to use the microphone on a stand that the venue provided. My coworker also hired Steve for her wedding too after my recommendation.

We worked with Steve (Unique Mobile Sounds) at work for all of our events that need DJ services. He is fantastic to work with . He knows his stuff, and makes all transitions during events seamlessly. He also really knows how to get a crowd going.

An update from my 6/21/2012 review. With the wedding done, I just wanted to update that my husband and I could not have been more happy with Steve's service during our wedding. Steve labels himself as a DJ/MC and I think this small distinction is really key. He will not just play music (although this part was wonderful - our dance floor was packed from the start, with everyone from friends to flower girls and parents dancing up a storm), he really helped lead our whole event. Every aspect went smoothly and he doubles as a bouncer! We had our wedding at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula and being there were so many people around, he would politely ask them to move so they weren't in our photographers shot. He's very polite and respectful and wants to make our day as special as possible.

Steve absolutely made my wedding wonderful! He made the process easy and tailored it to what we wanted our day to be like. Our wedding was basically a destination wedding since most of the family was from Michigan and they were all blown away.
Steve even played the Michigan State Fight Song multiple times for us :)
