Established in 1860, the funeral home was initially named Burnett & Rockefeller. The Burnett & Rockefeller was merged, by then owner-Ken Giek to its current Red Hook location, with the Hand Funeral Home in the early 1980's and was called Burnett, Rockefeller, & Hand Funeral Home. Ken subsequently purchased the White Funeral Home in Rhinebeck from William White.
