We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff. In addition to our licensed funeral directors, we also employ a full-time operations supervisor, and several part-time support staff members.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

During the most horrible times that my family has endured this past year, losing our dad and step dad, Bernie, Will and Brian stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. Their diligence to details, compassion and love is above anything could ask for. In your worst times, you want this Trifecta in your corner. During one of the most difficult times of my life I felt completely comforted and confident in Leahy Funeral home. Will was a true professional, remembering every detail and making suggestions that we may have overlooked. He was patient and supportive for my family every step of the way. My Aunt passed away from natural causes during the Pandemic. Bernie and his son comforted our family immediately over the phone. They picked up my aunt all the way from New York City and provided us with exceptional hospitality and service within three days of her passing. We are extremely grateful for the amount of care, compassion and attention to detail that was taken. The home is beautiful, clean and well kept. The pastor they recommended was wonderfully sincere. Bernie stayed with our family until the very end, where the cemetery was just minutes away from the home. He gave us the satisfaction

Will Gray was exceptionally kind, considerate and helpful during the sudden passing of my Dad. My mom "Charlie" and brother Terry are so grateful.
Will and Brian personally came to my parents home; they were respectful and gentle as they managed my Dad's body and provided time for my Mom, brother and I to say goodbye.
The next day during our time at the funeral home, Will was careful to present the decisions that needed to be made in an orderly yet compassionate manner. My Dad would have been appreciative...we most certainly were!

I am deeply grateful to Will and his staff. They took a disastrous situation where I was getting scammed by a online funeral provider who claimed he was local when in fact he was not even licenced or located in the state.
Leahy Funeral Home immediately took control of the situation, put me at ease and delivered results. I could not be more satisfied with the professionalism and kindness they treated me with.

Rarely have I experienced such a dedicated, caring, and compassionate handling of our sad situation. Bernie and Will Grey and staff Pete and Joe were spot on in every detail before, during, and after the service.

Bernie at Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home was both diligent and professional, on very short notice, in arranging a service for my Mom. We were traveling from many parts of the country, and Bernie was able to accommodate our needs in less than a day. Bernie truly made it possible for us to have a memorable service.
