Every apartment is cleaned, painted, and has the carper cleaned or replaced prior to move-in. The Property Manager also inspects each unit before it is deemed ready. You may submit a work order through your resident services account or you may call the office. You would have to come to the office during office hours but after hours you call stand-by maintenance.

I’ve lived here for 2 years now and this is the first apartment complex I’ve lived in but I absolutely love this place. The landscaping is always well maintained which is amazing. I haven’t had very many problems in my apartment itself but all the maintenance requests I’ve submitted have been completed very quickly, often within the same day. The reservoirs of water/ponds in the backyards are great to look at during any season. There is also a small path that leads to the dairy queen and to the surrounding stores which I absolutely love. Great place to live!

Very frustrated. I've specifically stated that I want the office/maintenance to schedule appointments to do anything in my apartment. Recently there was a city inspection, each resident had to fill out a paper giving consent. One option was conditional consent (which I chose) meaning they don't have permission to enter my apartment when I'm not home. On calling the office to ask when my apartment was to be inspected, I was told that they already did it. Without asking/notifying me. My privacy was violated. When I specifically have requested MULTIPLE TIMES that no one enter my apartment without

Overall we’ve had a pretty wonderful experience at Windmill Lakes! There are two major things that can be unfortunate, but it’s not fully the fault of the apartment complex.
1. At night parking can be very crowded. As someone who works late, this can be frustrating trying to find a parking spot. I wish we had an area for guest parking and separate resident parking, though residents can ask their guests to not park in certain areas whenever possible.
2. Not all residents stop at stop signs throughout the complex. This can make things dangerous during the winter, not knowing if someone is stopping

Love it. Been here for going on our third year and it's been nothing but pleasant. Affordable, clean, and the ponds are nice. Office staff are always super nice to me. The maintenance guys are also really cool! They always work quick and do it at convenient times. You literally only pay electricity too. Internet is included in the rent if you so choose and its Bloom Broadband. It's interesting, but it does everything I need it to do (honestly better than most average ISP's) and I REALLY push the limits on the bandwidth. No issues at all.

I’ve been here for a couple of years. It’s been very pleasant. Any interactions I’ve had with the staff either at the office or maintenance has been very friendly whether officially or just at the pool. The lake is beautiful and calming. The grounds are always clean and well maintained. I’m very happy here. I would highly recommend it.

I lived in this apartment for less than a year. We completely enjoyed our stay while we were there in this apartment. We liked the lake view in this apartment especially during the winter when it snows. We stayed in an one bedroom apartment and rent was quite affordable. Maintenance requests were serviced on time. Unfortunately We stayed here only for 6 months due to personal commitment. I had to pay just one month rent to break the lease which is cheap compared to other apartments in that area. Surprisingly, windmill lakes returned the entire security deposit to me. I would recommend this place
