However you have gotten here, I'm glad you are here. It means you are seeking out opportunities or professional counseling, looking for paths that will lead you toward a better tomorrow. People come to therapy for many different reasons. Perhaps you are in pain, feeling frustrated, alone, angry, misunderstood or even hopeless.
Maybe you've tried to make things better, but your efforts have all seemed to fall short. You might even feel lost, without direction, exhausted. It takes courage and energy to seek help - energy that you probably don't have to spare right now. Heal from past hurts, disappointments, anxiety, depression, frustration, or pain.

Services
We are all, in some way or another, dealing with the world around us - how the world is impacting us, and how we hope to have an impact on the world. My focus with clients is in better understanding this interaction between our selves and our world, and how we can either change or work to accept those parts of our selves and our world that trouble us.
I realize that no two people are the same, and tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each client. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, or issues in your relationship, we will work together to cope with those challenges, fully realize your strengths, and find new paths forward.
How do we learn to embrace our vulnerabilities and imperfections so that we can engage in our lives from a place of authenticity and worthiness? Let's cut to the chase - life can be hard. Sometimes we are surrounded by obstacles that seem insurmountable. At other times, even the simplest things overwhelm us.
Relationships can bring the greatest joy, and yet undeniably also the greatest suffering. I have sat and talked with many people through the course of couples counseling who tell me they have never felt as alone as when sitting right next to their partner - their partner who they are supposed to love most in all the world.
Cancer is not only a disease that affects the body, but can also affect nearly every other aspect of life, including your mental and emotional well-being and your relationships. Having worked in a major cancer center since 2010, I am very familiar with the challenges that individuals, families and couples face when their lives are derailed by a cancer diagnosis.
