Emmaus Road Counseling Center

Our mission is to creatively and intentionally renew our clients' capacities for personal healing and growth in a professional, confidential, affordable, and spiritually-based manner. Many people in the Christian community are in need of counseling services. However, there remain concerns about possible disregard for one's spiritual beliefs.

Our therapy fees range between $80 and $150 per individual session, and $100-160 per couple or family session, depending on the counselor you choose and the type of therapy you receive (for example, our licensed therapists or ETT therapy incur a higher fee). We have a few lower cost options if you are in need of financial assistance.

Dr. Gayle Samples is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Emmaus Road Christian Counseling. An alumni of Life Bible College, Gayle also graduated from Trinity College of Graduate Studies with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and then earned her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University.

National Eating Disorder Association: An organization for anyone who struggles with an eating disorder, or their family members. They offer information about prevention, cures and care. Battlefield of the Mind - Joyce Meyers: A book that aims to teach people who suffer from negative thoughts to think the way that God does.

Practicum eligible trainees must have this site approved by their graduate program. We are an approved practicum site for Azusa Pacific University, Concordia University, Cal Baptist University, Hope International University, Pepperdine University, Pacific Oaks College, Regent University, University of La Verne, and Vanguard University.
