Deering Properties
Managing over 3.3 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space in the Northwest. Since 1992, Deering Management Group has offered commercial property management services for assets in Oregon and Washington for clients throughout the United States. Our services include asset and facility management for office, retail, medical, industrial, mixed use facilities, and associations.

One of the most important elements that should be considered in hiring a property management company is the depth of personnel that an agency can offer. The quality and experience of the individual manager and the support they provide will make the difference in the successful management and leasing of your investment.
Services
Deering Management Group was formed to provide state-of-the-art management services for its current and future client base. Our mission has always been to maximize the client's return on their investment with a dedicated, service-oriented approach to professional property management.

Katie Thompson is the President and Principal Broker of Deering Management Group, Inc. Prior to joining the organization, Katie spent 11 years in Portland, Oregon, with companies focusing on their business development, community involvement, public relations, and financial strategy.
At Deering Management Group, our goal is to manage your property with a hands-on approach from an asset point-of-view rather than that of a mere custodian. This attitude will ensure the maximum possible return from the property. Our management effort will reduce the involvement of your time, as we will handle all aspects of the management.

Critical: Professionalism
Jim Knepler has the worst customer service! He is the perfect example of a BULLY. I would not recommend anyone having any dealings with him.

As a 15-year tenant, we have paid for parking spaces in a lot that Deering manages for several years. In the last 2 years, we have complained to Deering numerous times about other people parking in our spaces and their response has always been the same: "There's nothing we can do about it" even though they have an attendant onsite. I've emailed the VP Mariann Deering several times, telling her that we have disabled and low-income patients who need a place to park and she has consistently ignored me.
If you have a choice, we highly recommend using a different management company as this one doesn
