Medicine: Our hospital is full-service, with four veterinarians and four licensed technicians to provide your pet with the best diagnostic and therapeutic medicine available. We have on site modern digital x-ray equipment for high quality radiographs, and laboratory equipment to test your pet's blood and urine to aid in the prompt diagnosis of many disorders.

As previously stated, I've been going to Los Alamitos Hospital since 2009. In summation, I need to reiterate not only how talented this team is, but their ability to understand their patients and the owners. I have always experienced wonderful service here, but I'd like to take some time to mention a particular event.
I was at another veterinarian (only because LAAH was booked up for dental cleanings). I would never go anywhere else. In summation, the vet tech at the other facility treated my dog poorly and my dog was acting "weird" after with a hurt leg. In

Avoid like Covid - they don't care about your animal. I brought in my dog for a simple exam and came back with a dog that was missing teeth. I didn't ask for any teeth removed, the dog was in for a simple ear infection. I don't know what they did to my dog since I couldn't go back and see - but really scary to see your dog be in pain for no reason. So many other vets that care, so please avoid this one!

I recently moved to the area and my senior boxer was in distress not doing well at all. They got an appointment that day. This staff had never met my dog Raja… I got there and staff were just amazing from the minute I drove up. This was very serious and difficult time for my family and our Raja girl. I cannot express enough how amazing and grateful I am for this facility and staff. It was so difficult, but this staff was beyond kind and supportive. I cannot express enough how amazing they are. Thank you SO much.

My dog is very skeptical of people she doesn't see on a daily basis and isn't the easiest to deal with but I have never received anything but the best service from them. The staff is incredibly kind and unlike other vets I've been to, I feel like they actually listen to my concerns and don't seem to try to upsell me on their services!

I am amazed by the Los Alamitos Animal Hospital! My primary veterinarian did not have any availability for 3-4 weeks and my dog needed to be examined immediately because he was in pain. They were able to squeeze me in right away and the front desk staff and Dr. Jeff Ohm were all amazing! They took great care of my fur baby. I would highly recommend them.

This review is for Christine (Christina?) only. I have been coming to Los Alamitos for years And spent literally thousands on care for two animals. The care is great but some of the staff need a little training in customer care.
I called to make a follow up appointment for my sick dog. I know a blood panel is what needed and ask Christine what the cost of a CBC panel. She quoted a price and I asked if that was a full panel. She seemed to think that was funny. Believe me I was in no mood to be laughed at . I don't think she knew what a full panel was.

Called twice to obtain records for a dog that we rescued. They assured me both times they'd send the records via email, but they never came. I felt this was a bit cruel since I couldn't get the rescue dog a much needed grooming visit without proof of vaccinations and it allows us no insight into the rescue dogs health history.

I called today to get some vaccine records and the lady answered and told me she already gave them to me and then proceeded to laugh. I never received the vaccines which is why I called back to ask. I really dislike the customer service here. I'm not sure why I was met with such attitude from her for asking a simple questions.

Been coming here for years. Although they moved farther away from me, I would gladly take the extra few minutes to take my dog here.. Everyone is kind and you can tell loves animals. My senior dog had got sick and received the best care I could have asked for in such a difficult situation. In his final days, the staff and Dr K were so compassionate. I could not be more grateful. When I am ready for my next fur baby, there is no where else I will be taking them.

I was there yesterday after years...our bunny was ill and other vets had waits in parking lot for over two or three hours. They took my call and Tish was kind and caring and said drop off your baby...we did . We weren't allowed in but they did allow a girl in with a coffee who when I opened their door she had her mask dropped and then quickly put on...not how safety works with a mask that is meant to keep germs out. Once you touch the center of that mask you must sanitize....I kept calling to check but when the doctor called the most kind and Informative doctor....hope it was all sincere and

I just wanted to update my review since one of my dogs has been a frequent patient for the last few months. My dog has terrible skin allergies, and Dr. K has been nothing but wonderful in his care of him. He's worked with me to develop a care plan that works best for my dog, and he continues to check in with us. He's also made himself available to us for whenever I call in with questions, typically getting back to me very quickly.

This vet cared for my Golden Retriever, who passed away in 2018. This vet clinic always gave him excellent care, and he lived to be 14. I started going here because my next door neighbors reccommended the clinic to me. They have been taking their dogs here for many years before me, having received Spay vochers from the SPCA when they adopted their dogs, and liked it so well, they stayed. Los Alamitos Vet has since moved locations, and today was my first day here with my new dog, a Scottish Collie, and I could not be happier with the care he got today.

First visit under C-19 restrictions AND they're new location. Parking is MUCH BETTER! Ample spaces (not the 4 in front at the old place).
They have you call upon arrival. The assistants will come out wearing masks to get your info. Then come back to the car to retrieve your pet. Dr. K called after the exam to discuss details of Cooper's issue.
So easy, felt the staff took appropriate precautions. Just waited in the car through the entire visit. I saw 3 assistants going to and from parked cars. My assistant was very pleasant & seemed genuinely concerned about my dog and the care
