This is my vet!.Long Beach Animal Hospital!.the BEST IN THE WEST! DR. P. & I have known each other over 30 years!.ever want excellent care for you animals this is the place to go!.excellent friendly staff too & free coffee! I have been taking my cats/pets to Long Beach Animal Hospital for over 25 years and I couldn't ask to find better Dr's anywhere.
We are open 7 days per week for your convenience, and have evening hours until midnight every day but legal holidays. We do not charge for evening hours unless you come in without an appointment. If you have an emergency you can bring in any pet of course. If this is your first time with us we have a copy of our registration form to download and print out before your appointment.
From routine appointments to emergency situations or surgeries, the CareCredit card gives pet owners the peace of mind needed to care for pets big and small. Unlike traditional pet financing or veterinary payment plans, the CareCredit credit card gives you the flexibility to use your card again and again for your pet's procedures.
The Long Beach Animal Hospital is open 7 days per week until 10 PM. We are available to provide emergency care for your pet any time one of our doctors is present. Always call us first, because this will allow us to be better prepared for your arrival and to give you suggestions on what do do at home before leaving.
We have to rely on an owner, zookeeper, etc., that care and feed their animals for important information. Sometimes the information we do get is biased or erroneous, leading us down the wrong path. As a result, diagnostic tests are crucial to our diagnosis. Luckily, for most species, diagnostic tests have been refined to the point that they allow us to get a clear picture of the inner workings of animals.

Very caring with my son's Chinchilla. The nurse called and checked on him a few days later. Definitely will be back.

Very good experience. I was nervous because the previous vet i had been to ignored requests and questions and pretty much didn't bother to talk to me. They acted like they were too busy.
The vet here sat down and talked to me. Answered my questions. And helped me feel good about the care I was getting for my dog, and helped me to know I was on the right track with his care.
The staff was friendly and communicated well, even though they were clearly busier than the first vet I went to.

If you are thinking of bringing a reptile here, you will absolutely need an appointment. You're unlikely to get ER help here if you're wondering.
I had an animal emergency for a snake and tried to get into the emergency services here. Unfortunately, everything was booked up and the only reptile specialist wasn't on shift that day, so I was turned away.
The staff, however, were really nice and helped me out by referring me to another location in Culver City where they had a reptile team. Cheers to that at least 🐍.
Snake didn't make it tho 😔
