Erik Klimek is our most experienced DJ here and alsoo has been with Greenbelt DJ for the past 10 years. Aside from being one of Austin's best DJs, he is nicest guys you'll ever meet. He already has more than 400 weddings under his belt during his tenure with us. Erik has a great reputation for striving for excellence and always goes above and beyond for his clients.
DJ Floyd Banks has done over 200 weddings with Hill Country DJ, and was the first DJ to join the company. Floyd has degrees in Mathematics and Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin. Floyd loves cycling, soccer, and other outdoor activities. He has a superior knowledge of all genres of music, especially the 80s and today's hits.

Hired DJ Floyd for my wedding and he was awesome! My guests loved him, he was fabulous to work with, and he kept the dance floor full all night. In addition, due to a couple last minute changes, he helped my dear friend, the pianist, set up her equipment when the location had to be changed. Would recommend to anyone!

Nick did a great job at our wedding! When we met up with him during our preplanning session, he asked a lot of great questions and made us feel very comfortable with the whole process. He was super easy to work with and our guests enjoyed the music during our reception. He was able to get everyone out on the dance floor with the first song, which was very impressive. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!

Nick was awesome! We thought we might be a picky couple when it came to our music, so we created a long playlist of songs and a long "do not play list" for Nick. On our final meeting he ensured us that he would stick to the list and also feel the crowd out to keep the dance floor popping. He did a great job! Everyone, including me, was dancing all night long. (in fact, this is where I spent most of my night) Thanks, Nick!

Wonderful DJ company to work with. To start off, Anthony (the owner) answered all my questions and made me feel at ease about their services. Not pushy like others I talked to. Then our DJ, Nick, kept the flow of my daughter's wedding going from pre-ceremony music, ceremony selections, and of course, the dancing. During the pre-wedding meeting, he asked detailed questions, made helpful suggestions, took lots of notes then at the wedding he followed our requests to the tee. He arrived on time and took care of everything audio-wise, dressed professionally and really made the whole evening

We had the pleasure of Floyd's DJ skills at our wedding. In preparing for the day, Floyd asked great questions and took the time to get to know our music vibe. We wanted to share our own playlists just so he could get a better sense of our taste and he was very open to this. I'm from Texas but live in California and he was very easy to work with remotely. We received so many compliments on how fun the music was for the dance portion of the night and all of the music for the ceremony was seamless. DJ Floyd was awesome! Everyone was dancing and getting crazy and I love how he incorporated songs that I specifically requested (even if one of them was definitely not going to get people out on the dance floor, and I wanted it played because it was an inside joke for a big group of the people there). He kept a lot of people out on the dance floor all the way up until it was time to go. And even though we had been dancing for hours, a lot of guests weren't ready to stop! I had multiple friends come up to me saying it was one of the most fun receptions they had been to and a BIG part of that

I've never written a one-star review, but I feel a responsibility to warn others so they don't have the same experience we did. It's been about a year since our wedding. It was a lovely day, but if I could have changed one thing, it would be the DJ.
In a nutshell, the DJ ignored many of the song requests we'd given him before the reception, lacked MC skills, was a poor communicator (both before and during the reception), and was disorganized.
We'd hoped that hiring a DJ would simplify things on the big day and minimize stress, but it turned out to do the opposite

We hired Hill Country DJ to be our wedding DJ at our reception. DJ Mitch was awesome! We didn't have much of a list ready, so he talked us through it and gave us some options. We gave him an idea of what we were looking for in regards to dinner music and dance music and he knew exactly what we looking for. The dinner music was mixed very well and some friends commented how well it accompanied the dinner. The dance music was great and got everyone on the floor! Mitch was very flexible and professional when there were little hiccups in the wedding schedule. The wedding was a success! Thank you

Floyd Banks was a fantastic DJ at our wedding this week. He was a pro, ultra flexible and played fantastic music. We couldn't have been happier with him and Hill Country. He even improvised a killer call back joke to the best man's speech and had the place rolling in laughter before our first dance.

Hill Country DJ is a wonderful vendor. DJ Nick MC'd our wedding in May and he was tremendous! I highly recommend him. From our first consultation at his home to the end of the reception, Nick was a first-class professional. He knows what it takes to ensure that people have a good time, and I could tell he was gauging his music selection to fit the mood of the crowd. His music got many people dancing! After the wedding I was told many times how much they enjoyed reception, and DJ Nick is due a fair amount of credit for that. Hire Hill Country DJ - you won't regret it!

The website layout was easy to use. We simply selected the songs we love, like and dislike. I especially liked being able to choose which ones we did NOT want played at the wedding. Particularly because we were shocked to see that Black
