I was one of those brides who thought I didn't need a DJ and could just play a playlist from my phone, but boy was I wrong! Sean is much more than a DJ--he helped us create the mood and tone of our reception, and he helped coordinate logistics and flow throughout the day. We had a lot of moving pieces with my brother playing the ceremony music, and he coordinated everything perfectly. He was professional and calm, helping to reduce any nerves or stress about the big day. Also, during the reception, I was so impressed at how he could read the room and crowd and adjusted the music accordingly

DJ Sean Alan was so awesome! From beginning to end, planning meetings to wedding reception, he couldn't have made it easier for us. We went away from the reception wishing it wasn't over, and much of that was due to the music and the fun we were all having on the dance floor. We had a wide range of ages attending the reception and Sean worked really hard to help us have something for all. We've had comments from from so many on how much fun the music was. DJ Sean Alan is AWESOME! He is such a pleasure to work with and is truly one of the most understanding, flexible and easygoing people I've ever met. He is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help as little or much as you need him. Personally, as a bride who did not have a wedding planner, I found him to be a lifesaver. We hired Sean for our wedding. I knew I wanted a DJ but I wasn't sure how to go about finding one. His experience and high recommendations was what did it for me- Shana my wedding planner from Barr Mansion also recommended him.

Made everything sound-wise run smooth as butter!

Sean is an amazing DJ to work with. He's a personable guy that really knows his stuff. We shared our music with him, he gave us suggestions when we weren't sure what to pick out and he really cared to make sure that we were happy with everything.
The timing of the songs went perfectly in our ceremony, and he knew what songs from our list to play to keep people on the dance floor the whole night. He is very dependable, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Sean did a fantastic job at our wedding - we had the lovely and personal ceremony and the epic dance party we wanted, and he made sure the event flowed smoothly and on the timeline we had envisioned. He arrived on time, set up perfectly (even in a ceremony space with no power!) and hit every cue for the ceremony. We loved how Sean brought energy to the party, without being cheesy or over the top. I can not express how happy I am that we chose Sean for our wedding DJ. Everyone told me (including my coordinator) that a DJ can make or break your wedding, and Sean MADE our wedding!! He is so professional, passionate, and he genuinely cares about your wedding! Sean sat down with us multiple times to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted! Sean is just awesome! Sean was the DJ for our July 2014 wedding and was flawless! First of all, he was very easy to communicate with, extremely nice. He was always professional, kind, conscientious, and was very well dressed. A couple weeks before the wedding he took the time to have a face to face meeting with us to discuss our tastes and preferences, and to get to know us as a couple. He was very receptive to my musical taste and molded it perfectly for the wedding day. We got so many compliments on the music and I couldn't have been happier we had Sean for our DJ.

Sean was simply phenomenal! From the first time we met him to discuss his services and our wedding plans, he just seemed so organized and exuded genuine excitement to be a part of our event. He stayed in close contact with us throughout the entire process. When I'd send him an email, I'd get an almost immediate response.

I can't say enough amazing things about Sean! He is the best! He's so passionate about what he does, and his excitement is contagious! He was so quick to respond to emails, and he really makes every wedding unique. He's a true professional, and we are so glad we chose Sean as our wedding DJ! He can get everyone on the dance floor and even had my husband's grandmother dancing to LMFAO (a sight I never thought I'd see)! It's taken me a few months to write this review, mainly because after our wedding was over, I didn't want to think about ANY MORE WEDDING TASKS! But, it's been on my mind to write this review because I know how much I relied on them when we were planning our wedding last year!
We got married in Austin at Barr Mansion on Dec 3, 2011 and much of our wedding was done from outside of Austin; we lived in Dallas for half of last year and then relocated to London in September and flew back for the wedding in December. So, as you can imagine, it was an INSANE year.

I cannot speak highly enough of DJ Sean's talent. Most of my emails were responded to within 10 minutes of my inquiry - he made us feel important every step of the way and went above and beyond to make our wedding happen the way we intended.
We weren't prepared for how well it went. I come from a family that's, uh...dancing challenged...we were all out on the dance floor the entire night, along with all the other guests. DJ Sean had perfect timing with song transitions and knew exactly which song to play next to keep things moving.
I will without a doubt hire him for future events

So my review is based on a simple inquiry as to schedule/availability. I read the reviews on ATX DJ and sent him a message based on everyone else being VERY happy with the services provided. I cannot speak to the DJing since I have not ever hired nor heard this company at an event.
Sean was quick to respond to my inquiry. Though he is booked, he directed me to a site where I could look for another DJ/DJ company.
He was very nice and is also willing to continue to help with any questions I might have, in a general sense.

DJ Sean is as good as they get. He's a very experienced DJ in general, from old school raves to formal weddings.
Two days before my wedding, our wedding planner, Buon Affare, dropped out. (They were horrendous!) Sean stepped up and offered to help as much as we needed him to, since our new day of coordinator only had two days to get prepared for our wedding.
His timing was perfect, the music sounded amazing and he kept my entire wedding dancing from start til finish. He even had his own props for when we danced (and sang) to fun songs like "Sunglasses at Night".
