I would not recommend anyone trust their loved ones to this place. In 12 days, my father only received 4 rehab sessions. They left him in bed 21 hours a day. He's diabetic, and they were feeding him donuts and peanut butter sandwiches. The bathroom in his room looked filthy, the toilet was broken and rocked from side to side as if the floor beneath it was rotten. To make it worse there was ZERO communication from staff. I knew I had to get him transferred somewhere else, it took 5 days just to get someone to fax his clinical information to the new facility so we could start the transfer process

I have been @ LP for 6 yrs and can say there is no other place I’d rather be!
Our team works hard at caring for our residents and their needs. We have staff who go out of their way and spend their own money to buy gifts for our residents because they have such big hearts and great bedside manner. Our facility is clean and getting repainted and revamped as I write this. We even have karaoke which our residents love participating in :)
One of my own friends was in the hospital and chose LP as the facility she wanted to do therapy in. We have a amazing therapy team and she is doing well. She loves

Upon reading the glowing reviews I thought I was going to be among those reviewers who glorified this center as the next thing to Heaven for my loved one. Lol. My grandmother was a three-week resident at this facility, and the care given to her was abhorrent. First off, she never received proper PT, she wasn't properly bathe or her skin was taken care of as it should be, her private belongings were stolen or had been misplaced; and decided to toss that responsibility on us, her family. And last but certainly not in the very least: gave out a bag of misinformed information about her health, by lying

My grandmother was a patient there and Lani was the Activities Assistant which she went above & beyond with my grandmother. Lani's people skills and communication given thru the whole process was greatly appreciated being not everyone can do a job in that type of environment. I just want to say a hug thank you and wish for more people like you this field your a great asset to your employer! Best wishes in your future

My husband was brought to Lake Pleasant from another facility that was so poor. It was so difficult during these hard COVID times not being able to see him or talk to anyone regarding his condition/progress. When I tried I got different answers based on how he said he was feeling. I admit to getting very frustrated and disturbed that I was not nice at all. I demanded to talk to the Administrator Scott. He did a video chat with me and was very kind and understanding. He reassured me that my husband will get great care. And he did. The therapy was good and their compassion towards him was very good

I have been working at Lake Pleasant since March. I went from receptionist to housekeeping. We have an AMAZING LOVING & CARING STAFF. WHO HAVE NOW BECOME FAMILY. I would put have no problem having a loved one stay here as I did have a bad experience with a different place w iui th my dad years ago.
But I really do enjoy working here and would not trade it for anything.

My grandmother was a patient at this facility and there night shift nurses were very nice and supportive even though I was afraid to leave my grandmother. The DON was very nice and supportive throughout the hole process of our admission and discharge. I was also surprised that the administrator also helped on the floor. My grandmother eventually went home in good health.
