Comprehensive exams are for clients with no acute needs and are establishing themselves as a patient of record for routine dental care. During this visit, we take radiographs and photographs of all your teeth. We check every surface of every tooth from the base of the root to the tip of the crown. We check the status of your gums around your teeth, your TMJ's, your bite and the way your teeth fit together and do an oral cancer screening.
Dr. Mike was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where he got his Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and his dental training from the prestigious Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife relocated to take advantage of the northern California beauty as well as the abundant snowfall Lake Tahoe has to offer, as Michael is an avid skier.
We are proud of our office, which fully utilizes state of the art equipment, like digital x-rays and "The Wand." Cone Beam Computed Tomography (3D) images are quick and simple to perform. During the scan, the patient sits stationary on a designated seat. The cone beams are used to take hundreds of pictures of the face, creating different dimensions than what a traditional X-ray can provide.
Dental infections should be treated immediately to prevent the loss of your tooth. If you have a painful toothache, you may need a root canal. At Sacramento Dental Medicine, we perform root canals in Antelope and utilize the services of an in-house specialist for complex cases. Our goal is to protect your health with skilled dental care to remove decay and restore healthy function.

Doctor Mike and his team are outstanding, very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve had a number of significant dental problems these past few years and they have competently managed or taken care of each one of them. Doctor Mike himself is second to none - you really feel like he has your best interests at heart and that he is personally vested in your health. Now my only problem is what I will do if he ever decides to relocate.

Sac Dental Medicine is one of the best dental offices I have ever been to. They were nice enough to call me early for an appointment as I have a varied schedule. The check in and screening process was quick and provided for limited contact if that is a concern for you. The hygienist as always, was very professional and kind. (She was not overly aggressive with digging into my mouth) She actually said that I was doing better at my oral care!! The office staff was accommodating and friendly. I would strongly encourage anyone who has not been to a dentist in a while to give them a call!! I have referred
