Outdoor time is where children have fun developing gross motor skills and engage in pretend play. Every day children may choose to ride tricycles around a track, play in the sand box, or play house in a natural vine teepee. Other outdoor activities rotate weekly and include slide, parachute, t-ball, balls to kick and throw, tunnels, a mini-trampoline and more.
During morning circle children sing songs and have fun learning! Children learn literacy skills, how to solve problems with friends, math and science concepts, and more. Children participate in different hands-on activities, including STEM projects, that are developed around learning objectives and the theme.

I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have over 15 years of teaching experience and an Early Childhood Endorsement. I have been a 3rd grade classroom teacher, Reading Specialist, Special Education teacher, and preschool teacher. I have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card and have First Aid and CPR certification.
My daughter has gone to Desert Bloom for almost 2 years and we have been VERY impressed with her preschool program! Not only has my daughter learned the ABC and 123 but is also learning how to be a good person and how treat others. We also love the small class size as I know my daughter is getting the attention she needs.
