Founder and President Sam Millliken began catering to homes and offices four decades ago. He always wanted his own special event venue, and after years of searching he found a huge penthouse floor at 80 Fifth Avenue that had been the offices of a Readers Digest division and Byron Binder Bell Architects.
Have your beautiful reception up here overlooking the city everywhere. Creative ceremony setup. A lacy chuppa for this ceremony. Walking down the aisle and into a new life together! We now have our own three wonderful event venues after four decades of catering to all kinds of places: homes, offices, rented mansions, parks, theaters, Navy ships, yachts, clubs, synagogues, churches, and union halls. Many staff and clients have stayed with us for long periods of time. Every day we do our best, and every year we work to evolve.

First, Monika is the most wonderful person to work with when planning a wedding. She is so incredibly responsive, accommodating, friendly and empathetic. Both my husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. In the end, our wedding turned out to be the most perfect day, and the venue offered stellar views, delicious food and great day-of service.

A really nice event space near Union Square. I attended an event here recently that was very nice. Good bar staff and food. The space is big enough to comfortably hold about 200 or so. There was a classical music performance as part of the event and the acoustics are quite nice as well for live music.

Manhattan Penthouse is absolutely amazing. All of our guests raved about the view and the food. The venue is very spacious, we had about 80 guests but there was room for a lot more. They customized our wedding exactly as we wanted and had no issue with anything we asked for! We worked very closely with Monika from the beginning until the very end. She was an absolute delight. She answered all of our questions very promptly and was very easy to work with. She worked hard to make sure our day went smoothly by coordinating everything up to the wedding and also being our day of coordinator throughout

My wife and I were married here in 2018, and we have only amazing and positive things to say about the staff and venue. All the bits of planning leading up to the wedding were so thoughtfully and quickly taken care of by the staff. And on the day of the wedding, the staff was all incredibly professional, helpful and wonderful. I cannot recommend them enough.
